  1. Nicoleamy your stats and mine are almost identical Starting weight 250 Height 5’5 Goal is 155 I’m April 9 for the gastric bypass.
  2. Dr just called surgery is now scheduled for April 9th
  3. I’m excited too I want to start trying some different protein drinks and powders, try some different recipes for soups, anything to keep me busy while I wait! Lol
  4. Just scheduled my surgery for April 8th anyone else have dates in April? It’s weird how I was anxious for the date, now that I have it I’m excited but very nervous.
  5. Wreckitangie keep us posted on how long bcbs takes I have basically the same insurance And requirements, I go tomorrow for my nutrition class, I already met with the psychologist. Nurse at the drs office said from 3 days to 30 for the approval, I’m hoping 3 I would like my surgery in feb also.
  6. So far I really like the surgeon very down to earth and everyone at his office has been wonderful, I am going tomorrow to meet with the dietician and then they will submit for approval. So hopefully I will find out a date soon after.

  8. I’m starting to get excited and nervous, first appointment today. I scheduled all the other appointments with the required drs. If all goes well will be having surgery end of February beginning of March. I am looking forward to be able to go down the stairs without my knees or back aching.
