  1. Same on the word “moist”!! Lol Journey-I’m guilty of saying that word on here. ???
  2. Hey@Questin I was sleeved in July 2018. I did wait to get PS until this last Jan 2021. For me it was a goal i set for myself pre sleeve. I told myself. Get the weight off and get to goal. Once to goal keep it off for a whole year after getting to goal. I did. And then I ended up waiting some more time after that...I waited longer bc of several reasons. Did research on surgeon I wanted and when the time was right. I Just did a breast lift w augmentation and a full tummy tuck a few months ago in Jan. Best decision next to getting sleeved of course that I e ever made. Very happy. I’d say research your surgeon well though. You will see there are a bunch of awesome people in here who had done their arms done and had great results. I’m in Texas and used a surgeon from here. Dr. Mahlon Kerr. He is in Round Rock, Texas. He is amazing and I’m so happy with my results. I wish you the best on your PS journey. It’s exciting and such a reward for all the hard work put in. Let us know what you decide to do so we can follow your PS Journey too!
  3. I am pretty far out from surgery and still have bouts w constipation (7/2018 sleeved) When it happens I start putting a scoop of miralax in my coffee in the morning and if it doesn’t work the first day it does by the second day. Works for me.
  4. I take 1- women’s one a day 1-Biotin, 1-vitamin C, 4 Calcium Citrate (per Dr since I was low)
  5. Good luck!!!!! Welcome to the club!
  6. I can’t remember how long it was until I ate chicken. But you won’t have an appetite at all so you won’t be missing it like you think you will. But yes you will def get bk to eating those things but will just get full on much smaller portions. Hang in there. Know that this pre op diet is important and what helps your surgeon see the area he needs to for your surgery. You can do this!! Keep focused on the prize. Keep us posted too on your journey! YOU GOT THIS?
  7. Isn’t that crazy how your mind still sees yourself?!! I still don’t see myself as small but I know I am bc of the size I wear. Def a mind bender. Congrats to you! Your head will catch up w your body eventually.
  8. Sounds like you know what you need to do. Get back to basics. You CAN DO THIS!! Good luck to you! Keep us updated on your progress!
  9. I have my labs done at my well woman appt now. Kill two birds with one stone lol
  10. I had the sleeve. Tried ice cream at some point twice. Just a bite each time. Very nauseous. Same w cheese. Cheese I get bloated out on. I don’t eat either of them. Think some how I became lactose intolerant

So sorry for your loss and for the others who are feeling the same pain. May you find peace and healing for your broken heart.
  12. Had TT, breast lift w augmentation in January. Love my surgeon. He is amazing. Did All three at the same time. Best decision I made next to getting the sleeve done. Wish I had done sleeve sooner, maybe then I wouldn’t have needed the PS. **Do your research on Surgeons.** But PS was worth it. So happy how it turned out! Keep us updated on your PS journey.
  13. Yum. I’m an avocado lover!! I’d put it on everything if I could!!
  14. Sounds like she has a case of Diarrhea of the Mouth. Remember everyone is different. Just bc one person had a complication from who knows what surgery they had and what type of pre existing problems they had ahead of time, doesn’t mean you will. Try to think positive thoughts and don’t let her get in your head with the negative comments. Meanwhile this is very exciting change coming up for you!! Let us know how it goes and include us in on your weight loss journey. You will find a wonderful support system and a wealth of info on this app!!
  15. Ouch! Sorry to hear you had to go to the ER. Hope you get to feeling better. Drink lots of water, maybe put some miralax in your coffee? That’s what I do and it dissolves really well
  16. Ouch. Hope tomorrow is a better day for you. Stay hydrated Keep drinking water
  17. My all time fav cut of steak-filet with yummy asparagus!!

    Yes!
  19. Go to the before and after -it has plates of food with portions and after pics of how much was eaten. A lot of times there are recipes and almost always everyone is willing to share the recipe if it’s not on there.
  20. Was the heaviest I had ever been. Got to the point when I’d bend over to tie laces felt like I couldn’t breathe. Plus outweighed my husband by a lot. He is a normal weight. So I could have squished him lol. My heaviest was 238. I’m only 5’4 3/4. Now I’m 138. Best decision I ever made. Only regret was that I should have done this sooner!!

That was me. I lost all my boobs and was left w empty sacs. Buiuttttt there is Hope! I got a lift and an aug and now they are firm and perky!! Don’t worry girl. Getting the weight off is first. Deal w the girls later. Who knows maybe you won’t lose them. Some people don’t.

  23. I took two weeks off but honestly I could have went bk sooner. I just wasn’t sure how I’d be after. I had surgery on a Monday and was already at the grocery store that Weekend. Everyone is diff. For me I was very fortunate to bounce back up pretty quick. Good luck to you and keep us posted!!
