  1. Oh yes I love creativity. Have you seen the Campbell's Well Yes Sipping Soups? Love them. I have sugar free jello and pudding, popsicles. Broth makes me feel good and warm tea. For some reason yogurt doesn't agree with me right now anyway. Create, create, create. [emoji3] [emoji274] [emoji3] [emoji274] [emoji148] [emoji188] [emoji148]
  2. I use Muscle Milk protein powder. It makes good hot chocolate or with ice in the blender. I like the tast of it. Second best is Premiere Protein shakes real icy cold. That is what works best for me. My sister also got me some unflavored protein powder to add to other things. I have like a ton of water flavor packets so it makes the water more interesting.
  3. I stayed 2 days. Blood pressure and oxygen levels both really low. I have to keep an eye on both at home. Feeling good getting most all my protein and water in most days. Enjoying the nicer weather here and walking outside. Oxygen level is fine. Blood pressure depends on what day and time I guess. Congratulations and best wishes for you to keep moving forward.

  5. Well, I was a little disappointed. My weight was actually 1 pound heavier than presurgery. The doctor did point out I was retaining fluid. Pretty badly. So shifted a couple of my meds and work from there. Full liquid diet until Christmas Eve then to puree foods. Yay! I am so worried about screwing this up.
  6. Thank you for asking. I had RnY on Monday the 10th. I find I can drink certain things, most things as I am still full liquid diet quicker than a couple sips. If I do not pay attention my broth or thin soups can fill me about 2 sips too much. I am so afraid of screwing this up.

  8. Yay! [emoji3] I had a couple days wrestling with the gas but am looking forward to my check up today.
  9. In hospital they gave me a compression band. The nurse was so nice and the wrap was a dream. I still have it and though I can go without it I wear it especially when walking or extreme moving around. I will have to get the spanx suit. I know it will also help the stoma muscles.
  10. My day was Monday December 10th
  11. I had RnY on Monday Dec 10th. I am so glad I am not alone. I am fortunate enough to be on a full liquid diet so there is enough variation to feel like I have a meal. I am so thirsty and everyone says "sip, sip, sip" Can't I just take small drinks? Feel hungry often. Cry about it. I feel like I am not getting anything about this right. I do however reach a fullness. Usually about three spoons or sips too much. I just want to get this right so I lose weight, not have to use insulin anymore, among other things. Thank you.
  12. Priemier is the brand served while in hospital. I liked them better than most. My favorite is Muscle Mill. The rest I have not done well with.
