  2. I had my surgery on 12/7. I feel really great. I’m working out on a regular basis. As of today, I’m down 43Lbs. My issue is I’m hungry more than I thought I’d be. Obviously it doesn’t take much to fill me up; but it worries me to be hungry so often. Has anyone else experienced this?

  4. So my issue is I’m always full. I don’t want to eat because I’m not hungry. I drink a protein shake in the morning and maybe a little yogurt or scrambled egg. That keeps me full most of the day. It scares me because it’s hard getting all of my protein in. Surgery was 12-7. Is this normal?
  5. Praying that you start feeling better soon.
  6. How much protein should you take in daily after surgery

  8. I tried scrambled eggs this morning for the first time post op. I didn’t have any issues. Good luck to you as well
  9. I'm still not eating a wide range of food but baked fish is hit or miss. I feel like I'm not swallowing well. I'm going to try eggs today.
  10. No, I mean physically. It's not really pain; but certain foods are still uncomfortable to eat.

  12. Surgery was 12-7. I was 384, today I'm 349 and feel great. This is the first time I've been able to get on a scale at my house in years. Sorry, I'm ranting. How long does it take for eating to feel natural? Certain foods still feel awkward.

  15. Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. For the most part I feel great. I’ve not had any nausea or major aches or pains. Again thanks for your support.

  17. Surgery was 12-7. I feel pretty good. I’m doing great with my liquid and protein intake. This morning, I’m very hungry. I’m sooooo tired of broth and creamed soup. Any suggestions for a full liquid diet.
  18. Help settle a bet. Co worker says mashed potatoes and sugar free applesauce can be eaten post op for full liquid diet. I say no. Thoughts?
