I was banded May22 I have lost 49 lbs. I'm having trouble with what the Dr is calling mucus in my pouch. Have you had and experience with that. If I don't drink something hot before I eat, everything comes up with all this mucus (snot). I wonder if I could take an allergy pill to dry it up. I'm going to ask at the next Dr visit. I have also had 3 fills and other than the mucus I feel great.

Hey girl, I got banded Thursday the 22nd. My doctor is Wellborn in Little Rock Arkansas. I went home same day. I have had great care from the husband. I'm having a little trouble getting all the fluids down. I have had to write everything down. No trouble with the gas. The MOM too care of that. I have a goal set to lose 140 lbs. I hope by this time next year I will be there or real close. Good Luck R. Ellie

I'm scheduled for surgery May 22 in Little Rock, Arkansas Wellborn Clinic. Anyone else from Arkansas? I start my pre op diet on Thursday. Will Slim fast work as well as the protein drinks or do I need to go to the health food store and shop? Can't wait 16 days to go.
