    For me- when I drink right up until I eat, I am full pretty much right away....the more empty my pouch is, the more I can actually eat what I am supposed to. that being said- I drink most days all day except after and during eating because it's really just not possible or I get sick.

    Ask for a tall glass of Water with just ONE shot of vodka in it. add lime/lemon- lots.
    And You can ask for a glass of water also and add more water as you drink.

    Yeah....similar and then I would burst blood vessels all over the sides of my face and chin. Now I have learned what to eat, how much, how to chew it, etc...but it was a huge learning process for me.
    take it easy - shakes, soft foods, etc for a few days.

    I know it happens at various times...so right now I just do not want to eat. Maybe for about four days or so. I’m not eating much Protein the past two weeks or so and even the past few days I don’t want to eat much of anything. I’ll have a bite of this or that and then just excuse myself from dinner and clean up. Or I’ll take food at lunch and don’t eat it and eventually throw it out. Dense Proteins are still a pain to eat but there is plenty of food I can eat— I just haven’t been interested. I know I need to eat but what do you do when this happens. Do you consider it a lucky day and just embrace it or do you make yourself eat? I’m not sick or having any other issues. Just not interested much in food. (For once in my life LOL)

    I would take one more test Monday morning and call the doctor. If that test is within the timeframe (usually 3 minutes) it’s pretty clear to me. But I would retest cuz I am a nut like that.

    Vodka / Water with lime or lemon- you can try a flavored vodka too- ciroc watermelon and water is good- a friend told me lol

    5 months....some days I am at 400 (which is too low) and occasionally I can hit 800 if I eat enough Protein. Average is 600-650. I walk 5 days a week minimum and will add in light weights/resistance soon.

    Good chance the egg just made you sick. Take it easy for a day and try eggs in a few week maybe. Eggs always make me feel sick still.

    Does anyone else throw up blood when they vomit. I don’t vomit often anymore but when I do it’s not pleasant and I always end up spitting up phlegm with red blood in it. The harder it is to throw up (something stuck) the more blood. I also always end up bursting blood vessels in my face then too. So annoying. I asked about the blood at my last appointment two weeks ago and didn’t really get an answer. No other issues. Just curious if anyone else gets this....or has any experience with it.

    Watermelon seems to make me sick...I feel sick and once I had to throw it up. I have had it three or four times. Each time I felt a little nauseous and the one time I ate a lot was when I got sick. So sadly, watermelon is now off of my list for a bit. Bananas also make me feel blek- I only know cuz I Have made a few smoothies with banana and can't drink too much. Berries are fine and that is the only fruit I really will eat and it's not that often. You are still pretty early post op, so that could be why.

    I think I know my issue but I don't want to admit it LOL carbs are easy to eat (crackers etc- even though i feel nauseous afterwards)- Protein is hard to eat....voila- there is the issue. WHen i eat 100% on plan- weight falls off like it should. When I don't- it doesnt move. SIGH but I have to stay in the 600-800 range but that is actually pretty comfortable for me for a daily intake as long as I don't eat things I shouldn't eat anyway. Thanks again!

    This is really good advice. I just haven't lost much this month and I was hoping IF would help that. But if I am more diligent w/ my plan (getting Protein in, eating regularly...etc) I bet it would be all I need to do.
