I am also taking 2 weeks, even if I don't need it. Super lucky that my surgery is the 17th right before Christmas. Looking forward to resting... My parents are coming for the holiday and staying with me for 3 weeks, they arrive the day after surgery. That will be interesting... on second thought maybe I will go back before 2 weeks!

My surgery is scheduled for December 17th. My pre-op diet is 2 weeks before. Anyone else on this date?

I am a Physical Therapist in the ICU and I feel the same way. My surgery is scheduled for 12/17 and I think being in healthcare is a blessing and a curse. I am terrified of complications but I do know several ICU nurses that have had huge success with this surgery. Looks like we are close in time frame and I will be watching to see how you are doing!! Best of luck!!
