  14. @gabybab I just heard of fairlife and thought about getting that. And I just realized today how much protein chili has so I’m gonna try that. Same thing with the beans.
  15. Pretty much both sides of my family are obese. When we were growing up we never really had very healthy food. When I was 10 my mother had gastric bypass and she’s had very little problems with it and has stayed under 170 and my uncle had it several years after her and has gained a little back but nowhere near as big as he was. I’m just hoping I do really good with the sleeve. So far I’m 2 weeks out and since 2 weeks before surgery I’m down about 35 pounds
  16. Thanks so much for your help. I have been trying to drink milk when I feel like I can’t do a shake. I think really I just have to start thinking way way out of the box ?
  17. I’ve tried whey protein unflavored and it’s horrible lol. I also don’t really like eggs. Before surgery they gave me stomach aches and heart burn. Just purreed some tuna and it’s working so far
  18. I’m 2 weeks post op and I am having a lot of trouble getting my protein in. I despise protein drinks and have to choke them down. I don’t eat cottage cheese or yogurt. I also have a weird texture pet peeve. I am very very picky. Just trying to see if anybody has any ideas for ways I can get it in. I really need some help. ??
  19. I was only in for 1 night. The day after they usually want to make sure you can keep liquid down. At least for the first few weeks my doc said don’t lift anything above 25lbs but I’m sure they could sit on your lap but careful around the stomach. It will be very tender to touch for about a week although mine lasted about 2 weeks.
