  1. I was banded the same day as you. Are you sore? I had a great experience as well, but I'm more sore than I expected. I'm back at work today, but I'm trying to sit as much as possible.
  2. I was banded Friday 2/3 by Dr. Spivak in Houston. I don't know why, but I didn't expect to be so sore. I've never had abdominal surgery before so I guess I just didn't know what to expect. How long does this usually last? I'm back at work today, but it's still not easy getting up and down. I'm a teacher so I have to move some, but I'm trying to sit as much as possible. Also, when should I expect to start losing weight? Thanks, AngieO
  3. Both of you make me feel better about being on liquids for only 48 hours. I'm ready to start on this journey. I know it won't be easy, but I'm very excited. Thank you, AngieO
  4. What kind of blended foods do you think you should've eaten? Do you think you should've started blended foods earlier than 2 weeks post-op? AngieO
  5. I am brand new here. I'm being banded tomorrow in Houston by Dr. Spivak. My instructions are to stay on liquids for 48 hours and then move on to very soft food. From everything I'm reading on this site, it sounds like I should stay on liquids longer than 48 hours. What does everyone suggest? I really want to be successful and have as few complications as possible. What liquids are the best? Is soup ok? What about applesauce? I have so many questions. I'd love any advice.:help: Thank you, AngieO
