joannniemiec got a reaction from nomorefattypatty in Could Someone 'Splain This To Me?
I'm sorry, but I feel that bringing up your obvious dislike for the president in this forum is just opportunistic. This , in the end is about personal responsibility. Refraining from the behavior that for them there in the first place. TBH, right after surgery, I could have eaten the steering wheel off my car. I refrained. I have stuck to the diet, cheated a couple of times, buy have lost almost 40 lbs in 5 weeks. For those who can't make the changes, save your money and stay home.

joannniemiec got a reaction from ProudGrammy in I'm 60. Anyone else over 50 doing RNY?
Good luck to you. I'm 51 and had mine done on 11/7. The toughest part that I have found so far is making sure not to overeat. Knowing where your limit is. So far I have lost 34 lbs...

Liquid, puree, soft foods, then regular, but I have found it difficult eating "regular" foods. I revert back to eating a lot of soft foods.... Refried Beans, yogurt, etc. I have the best success with those too.

I find it so funny how each person is so different. I had no gas pain, no troubles really of any kind. As of yesterday down 34 lbs.
