    I just got the good news that my lap band surgery has been approved by my insurance company!! This was my second try and I was really nervous, but they came through this time! So now the hard work begins. I've done all my preliminary appointments so now the next appointment with my surgeon and the two weeks of liquid diet and I should be ready to go! I have a big family reunion at my house on August 2. How much recovery time will I need before having 35 of my husbands closest relatives for 5 days? Should I wait and do the surgery afterwards?
