Do you happen to have the letter your dr sent? Sadly my dr knows nothing about insurance so I have to tell her everything to write lol. My surgeons office doesnt even know I have a denial yet. I'm sitting her fuming and especially not knowing they're reason! Sadly it's most like because of my drs crappy chart notes

It was denied!!!! Every hoop jumped through and denied. They will send me a letter telling me why and I can appeal.

Tomorrow the decision will be made on the gasteic sleeve request. We submitted 10/10, regence bcbs of oregon waited 13 days to review and tell me the drs notes were specific enough of when the 6 month diet started, then surgeons office took a week to send the new information in. Anyway. I'm so nervous. I'm scared. I literally dont know what I'll do if I dont get approved. I cannot lose weight at all. I est under 20 grams of carbs a day for 5 years with no loss. Just stay the same. Please pray for an approval for me

So you have to take two of the bariatric formula ones a day? With that are you using more than a months supply in 30 days?

I havent had surgery yet, but stalls happen in all weight loss programs so it should be expected here as well. The water thing bothers me to and hopefully I can use a straw still afterwards. I heard it depends on surgeon.

Jessa,, did you have a preop diet? If so how long and how much did u lose?

I for one think 26-29 gram is still great, I also know it balanced my blood sugars well when I had gestational diabetes and paired with a carb. I already knew whey is best but for me, drinking it is best and premier protein is easiest for me to get, find and drink

Has anyone tried the tespo vitamin dispenser? Its liquid vitamins. I get really tired with vitamins and I feel like this might help me absorb them. Anyone else get tired too? It's a drugged up feeling even. I take at night now because I'm unable to function if I take during the day

Hey there! So, maybe reach out to eviva? I'm working with them and the only slow part has been insurance. I would call them and let them know where you're at in the process and you can schedule a consult right away with them! It's possible you can get your surgery before end of the year with them! I go to the shoreline one :)
