Through all the sickness last week I’m down 5lbs. Does anybody else have any trouble keeping their food down? My doctor told me to take my medicine and my upper gi test came back normal. Maybe my body just ate food now🤷🏽‍♀️

soo just a quick question... is it still a NSV if you find yourself chasing your toddler through the mall on Christmas eve and you pants fall down to your ankles? still feeling mortified and joyful at the same time about that one.... Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!

Paddyski, let me put on my Judge Judy hat and assess this case. I find it to be one-half NSV, one-half OMG. Please tell me you weren't going Commando that day, that might cause a stampede!👣

After a 14 day stall I’ve finally started losing again- thank the lord !! I’m down 51.5 since 11/19! I started exercising this week (had to rejoin the gym Bc it’s been so long). I keep looking at other peoples Instagrams thinking.....one day!!! Hope everyone is doing well!! This group (even though I don’t post much) has been a safe haven for me- and I’m so glad that I’ve been able to learn from all of you!

HUGE NSV guys, I'm so excited and had to share!!!!
I cycle for my exercise on a stationary bike instead of walking. I started with the resistance at 0 and recently bumped it up to 1 - it's a big difference and I'd have to stop every 1-4 mins to give my legs a break. Well TODAY, I was able to cycle at that resistance for 45 mins straight!! AND I was able to peddle up to 30mph when I'd push it for a few mins every so often to break a sweat! By the time I was done, I was sweating and out of breath, and guess what?
    IT FELT SOOO GOOD!!!!!
This must be the euphoria people feel after working out!!! I've never felt it in my life and it feels AMAZING!!! It also really relieved some stress.
What victories have you guys been experiencing?

Had my sleeve 12/18 and have sometimes found myself lamenting about all the Christmas I don't get to partake in. Hubby made me some Decaf peppermint tea and it is soothing and makes me feel a little Christmas cheer. Just thought I'd pass that along to my fellow December sleevers who can tolerate warm fluids.

YAY!!! I am right there with you having a bit of a stall but I cheated the other day and peaked at the scale and saw it was going down this week already by 3lbs... not recording yet because fingers crossed it will be the end of my stall lol... I am happy I think I shared with you all that the doctor had told me they only expect a 15lb or 20 lb loss in the first month... by the sounds of it will are all doing great...
I am shocked at how fast the changes are happening, I think people around me are noticing which is nice and a little weird like I am coming to terms with how BIG I really was and have been for such a long time, it is so nice to not be reaching for a snack or a second helping, to feel satisfied with the smaller portions. I came downstairs in a 4x shirt today and my husband laughed at me and was like you can't wear that outside in public... I was shocked Honestly I hadn't even really looked in the mirror... I had grabbed it because holiday themed, and threw it on, and he was right it was below my knees, and just looked hilarious all around... I ended up laughing and crying (happy tears) but just overwhelmed that this is working and how much I needed this in my life. I feel like I am truly going to be here to watch my daughter grow old and be the support she needs in life. I am just so grateful for chances we have before us.
On another note, I am a suitable weight for the elliptical we have in the basement, and I am loving fighting with her lol I had no idea but this machine talks to you as you are working out, trying to motivate you, keep up the work, this 100% incline is nothing lol. I love yelling at this machine or answering her so fun... My husband was like um were you on the phone with the cable company (cause I have a tendency to get into arguments with cable company remote area = slow service) I was confused at first but her had heard me yelling hysterical!
I really hope everyone has a great weekend, and for those celebrating a happy holiday! I can say I already have my Christmas wish for health this year, and so looking forward to 2019! I am so glad to have found this group as well! Love the support!

I’m so excited! I have officially lost 50 pounds!!! 30 since surgery 11/13.
I’m still frustrated with eating some days, but this sure helps me look past it and know that I’m on the right path!

How is everyone else doing with your weight loss this far? Any new non scale victories?

This isn't super exciting, but I love ground turkey with shredded fat free mozzarella cheese sprinkled on top. Tastes like a cheeseburger!!

I was sleeved 11/6 and I am down exactly 20 lbs since surgery. I'm down more than 60 lbs since starting this journey earlier this year. My post-surgery progress has been slower than I'd like, I've had two really prolonged stalls (10+ days) but I keep telling myself consistency pays off. I've got to increase my exercise, I know that'll help a lot. I've had a very easy recovery (minus the first week) though so overall, I am really happy!

How much has everyone lost? I’ve lost 19 lbs in 22 days and am feeling great. No more huffing and puffing around. I have tons of energy and am starting to feel attractive again. What are some positives everyone else is noticing?

Approx 16 lbs in 23 days. My husband told me I don't snore anymore! And my boobs are sticking out father than my gut!

Since surgery on 11/26 (23 days) I've lost 11 lbs. I went through a 2 week stall though, so I try not to think of it post surgery. I started trying to lose weight on 10/17 and since then I've lost 32 lbs - that's 16 lbs a month, which I'm ecstatic about!
Biggest change I've noticed is that hygiene is easier (I have an autoimmune condition that gives me a lot of back inflammation, but changing my diet has helped that tremendously) - I can twist easier. Majorly life changing. Also, even drained from surgery, I notice more energy when I'm running errands AND - I have more energy to clean my house! It actually feels fun/rewarding now instead of feeling painful and like a chore 😊

I just figured out how to reply 🎉😂. Wooo hooo for boobies lol! I tested positive for sleep apnea before surgery so I’m really hoping I’m not snoring anymore either. Unfortunately my hubby snores louder than me so I’m not sure he would notice if my snoring has stopped.
