Mikeyy. They put me on a similar diet to Atkins or Keto. Eat as much meat and non starch veggies as I want. I cannot have any sugar fruit and any carbs outside the veggies. I cannot have dairy either

I have a count down on my phone. It is getting more and more real. Monday will be 2 weeks exactly prior to surgery. I meet with the dietician for preop diet. I know that I can have meat. I just can have zero carbs, sugar, fruit. I check veggies and that to has carbs. So we will see what else. Not all liquid though. Then I meet with the physician assistant to do a last review prior to surgery. Probably be more real on Monday than todat

That sounds great. I had my final decision appointment with my surgeon today. Just went through what to expect and why I wanted bypass over sleeve. Then the scheduler came in and we scheduled the nutritionist appointment and physician assistant appointment February 4th. There I will get final check up and my two week diet for prior to surgery.

I got my preop diet after talking with the dietician on the phone. Two weeks prior I have to cut out dairy, sugar, and carbs. I can eat as much meat and veggies throughout the days

I saw my surgeon today and got a surgery date--February 25. Woo-hoo!

Happened to me as well. It was pretty much why bypass over sleeve or vice versa. Wanted to know reasons and she agreed on all. She went over the risks again and then we scheduled

It is going to be great. I know this journey has been over six months. I know when I get to my pre op diet, I will be saying I wish it was not quite here yet. Just kidding. Iy will be great because I will get to my surgery and by summer I will have started to look like the stud I know I am. 😂
