Hey guys, so I’m scheduled for nov 7. I’m a mom of two beautiful, energetic girls one is 6 and one is going to be 2. I’m having my worries of course about the surgery my biggest concern are my babies. I need this for me but I’m feeling a little selfish because I know they need me too. Just wanted to hear advice and other mommies that have been in this position, how was it, recovering and attending to them and everything in between.

Just got approval today!!! Getting sleeves on November 7!!! It was so fast turned it in Monday and got the notice this morning! Who’s my sleeve buddy of the 7th??

Believe me I’m scared got to little girls and that’s what constantly on my mind. But the pros to this surgery are amazing. I think so many people have successfully done it why not me. Everything will be great! Stay positive.

I had a pcp we spoke about my weight but never put me in a supervised plan. I myself tried multiple ways to lose weight by trying Herbalife trying cabbage soup diet taking diet pills that a different dr prescribed them to me. I changed my insurance recently and now have a new pcp. I came totally not prepared when I saw my new ARN as pcp. But I scheduled with a different doctor and am collecting all my old medical records that shows my attempt with the pills, Herbalife, gym memeberships, lab works, and records that show I’ve been obese for over three years hopefully this doctor can understand ?

Hey! is anyone from Miami that can recommend a PCP that agrees and helps patients to get the sleeve? Please help my doctor didn’t want to give me the medically necessity letter unless I do a 6 month treatment but not even my insurance needs that much time.
