  15. remember it takes 6 weeks to heal.. you are going to be swallen some time there & sometimes it can take a few days or more for the bruising/swelling to even start to come out.. so i would say its quite normal what you are going through, but to put your mind at ease call your doc.. they will tell you exactly what it is.. we can only go by what experiences we went through.. im sure you will start to feel better soon... sometimes i cant bend down cos i get a sharp quick pain where my port is..sometimes i dont..
  16. i enjoyed reading that Laura, we went to town today & i ordered a JP no butter with cheese & it comes with a side salad (no dressing) i ate 2 bites of the JP & that was it.. i couldnt eat anymore?.. so i gave it to hubby, he didnt order anything as he had a hearty breakfast before we went out, so my meal betwee us cost $6, he said i can be as cheap as that all the time..so i grabbed his arm & went clothes shopping for me..LOL..bargain

  20. i dont get my first fill for another 7 weeks & i have spoken to my bariatric nurse today & she said if i keep losing the weight like i am doing then they wont prob give me a fill either, she couldnt praise me enough for putting in the effort for losing the weight, i am not hungry at all, im doing everything right she said, to be honest having the surgery frightened the life out of me & i made a promise to myself i was going to take this very seriously & do everything by the book & so far i think i have been very blessed... i know some people have said until they get their first fill they can eat big portions & pretty much anything..i would be concerned to stretch the new stomach? & blow my chances for good... well done to wstorms for your weight loss so far.. you have done great & wish you all the luck for the future :cursing:

I cant say ive seen any mean people on here, maybe im not looking ( & dont want to).. i joined here to get & give support, no one really should be judgemental, just give guidance where needed with lots of encouragement, were all in the same boat & from time to time incl myself is going to fall in the water & i hope someone will reach out their hand to guide me back to safety as i would do the same for others... lets enjoy our new lives together... life is too short for negativity.. were all here to lose weight & be happy :cursing:
