Eat protein and green vegetables...avoid breading, breads and pastas, sweets. Avoid veggies that are higher in carbs (like corn, peas).

A small Wendy's chili is 19 grams of carbohydrate...for me that's too high (when I'm trying to eat low carb) but for some I guess it would be ok....

If you eat your protein foods first you are going to stay full for longer & should take away any cravings you might have, keep drinking plenty too..

write the good foods down on paper & take it with you it will make it easier to chose from menus

Hello~

Have you ever tried eating Tuna fish mixed with a little mayo, seasoning and celery, onions, peppers, green olives etc. you can mix it up and put it in a container or wrap it in a lettuce leaf. It is very high in Protein and very Yummy. Also shrimp in low fat and high protein, my friend had the banding done about 5 years ago and those two things have become her staple. The bags of shrimp usually are about $10-20 per bag but you can get a lot of meals out of one bag. I think the key is being prepared and always trying to have something on hand at all times. I was just banded a week ago today so I'm still on liquids. Hope this helps. Good luck to you
