  1. Congrats on your pregnancy. I am less than 2 yrs out and 27wks pregnant. And if morning sickness didnt take over your life like it did mine for the first 18 weeks this should be a breeze. I too searched this site for help and found very little. My surgeon said to increase calorie intake by 300 no more than 400 daily. He said dont worry about the weight you gain during pregnancy as long as your still conscious of your diet. To continue the bariatric multivitamins, calcium, and b12 I was taking as well as an iron tab daily. I found pregnancy after VSG to be much more difficult for some than others. If your OB is knowledgeable about VSG it would be helpful for you. Continue to see your nutrionist.
