LOL All the bathing suits I have are 18/22 so I went on smile.amazon and found this one. Because of my extra skin bat arms.. Now I'm not that tall so there is no big gap between the top and bottom, so it is almost looking like a one piece. I LOVE IT I does run small I'm a size 10 now I ordered a XL. I can't wait to wear it next week.

    ALL the nopes!!! LOL
The concept of me trying on bathing suits in a shop changing room might just rip a hole in the fabric of reality (never mind the fabric of the bathing suit)! 🤣

These types/styles of tankini are all over Target and Walmart for even lower I think? Plus you get the added fun of trying it on in front of their trick changing room mirrors from hell! ha!

Thanks guys - I think I just needed my hand held because it's not returnable if it's the wrong size through Zulily. At a third of the price it usually sells for, I'll take the hit if it doesn't work for me. Ordered it in a10 - eeeek! That sounds so weird to say!

It's very nice. You cant go wrong in a tankini . I usually buy one size down in swim suits.
    Enjoy!

$29.99 is cheap for a bathing suit. Go for it!

I live on the lake, I have a suit every year. Most have skirts, as I'm an old lady. The only one you have to please is yourself. Go and have fun!

I can't believe I'm even contemplating getting a bathing suit - I think the last time I wore one was 25 years ago as a kid!
I saw this and am was hesitant to order at that price, but found it on Zulily for $29.99.

What are the rest of you thinking of for bathing suits as the summer comes in? Would like to get some other ideas!

I was six month out when I had my Birthday Mimosa. I was only able to have half during the party and felt a little buzzed. Just listen to your body carefully.

I can not even handle Medium Salsa. Everyone is different. You just have to listen to your body.

My doctor hasn't said specifically, only that it'll cause you to get drunk faster and to be careful. I don't drink alcohol so it's not an issue for me.

My dr recommended 3 months but basically said I could do what I wanted after 6 weeks. I waited three months and half a glass of wine and couldn’t drink anymore. It felt really weird going down and I didn’t care for the sensation. I’m 6 months out now and. Can tolerate wine (2 glass limit). I’ve tried some vodka drinks but they are hard because all the mixers I like are either carbonated or have too much sugar. One dirty martini gets me fairly buzzed but I’ve noticed that it goes away fairly quickly. It’s pretty weird.

I have the sleeve, not bypass.

It is always so interesting to me how much programs vary. Mine said to avoid alcohol for the first 3 months, though in general it's not recommended after that. I really enjoyed my wine before surgery and don't expect to stop drinking it. But I do think when I start having it again, it will be on fewer occasions and in smaller amounts.

I had my first drink (champagne on my 20th anniversary) about two years after surgery. I had my second (wine) about two months ago, almost four years out of surgery. I was never much of a drinker before surgery either, though. Having to wait a year is pretty standard advice from surgeons. Keep in mind you're likely to get drunk way faster than before- I could really feel it after one glass of wine/champagne and was pretty bombed after two.

Hiring one I am one month post-op and I would like to know when did you all start drinking cocktails and wine after your procedure? My doctor said that I should avoid alcohol for one year... I respect and honor my professional doctor's recommendations. Thoughts?!?

the first few weeks can be tough and buyers' remorse is common. Just hang in there - the rough part will soon be behind you, and you'll be really glad you did this!!

I remember seeing a lot of postop regret for people in the first several weeks after surgery. But ultimately when you get used to this new way of eating and see the changes for the better happening in your health that feeling of regret should go away.

I get it. I am only 3 weeks out and i am fighting just trying to get in something into my diet. I felt totally lost with the liquid diet, but i am hoping with the phase 2, i will be better. Good luck! Try Premier Protein and PB Fit powder for added Protein. Did they say anything about what you can and cant have?

You're only 4 weeks out and this normal. I'm almost 3 months, and not that far ahead of you.
But, it does get better. I'm eating more and it's getting easier.
I'm not much of a cook and buy a lot of prepared foods and go 2x a week.
It will get easier and you will feel better and better.
    My best to you!
