  4. I have cigna as well. My hr dept tools me to call an open a claim. Did the initial over the phone. For the claim number. They asked for the Dr's name and phone /fax. Other than turning in my release to go back to work that's all I had to do
  5. Went to my Dr for 3 month follow up last Fri. He's like 20lbs six weeks. Need to exercise more. Um you only told me I could do treadmill. Oh you can do whatever. Well thanks! But my question is if I'm only getting 500-700 calories as is workshop exercising more require me to eat more? I have trickle now being out all in
  6. Ask your Dr or nut. Mine had me start vitamins 6 weeks before surgery
  7. I shop the high end stores but only off the clearance tracks. Macys Christopher banks, Dillard's, Belk etc
  8. I'm almost 3 months post op. I only do 60-80 gr protein. I average 500-700 calories. Couple days I've gone as high as 900 but typically that's my range. I have 3 meals during day 1 sometimes 2 snacks. All I can do to get that in at times. If you are losing inches you're good. I've had weeks where I don't lose anything, some might be 2 lbs, then odd week might be 6lbs
  9. 5'8" Sdate 8/16/18 Sw 273 Cw 215 Dr goal 180 My goal 160

  11. I was atypical as well until yesterday. 2.5 months post op and sudden runs. Yesterday was after eating a salad. No dressing no fats. Last night had 2 eggs n piece of toast. This morning couldn't stay off the toilet!!☹️
  12. My Dr told me to listen to him and not the nutritionist lol. Said get protein water will come. 2.5 months post op and still having trouble getting all the water. Getting min on protein. Just not hungry. Side note my blood work came back great!
  13. I did OK with steamed dumplings. Got brave and tried fried rice. 1/4 cup yeah that's a no
  14. Seems to be. I can definitely eat more of it if it's on lettuce. Today was weird though. Had me in the bathroom 30 min after eating
  15. I take leftovers. Some days I'll do salads. My go to is lunch meat roll ups. 3 slices lunch meat rolled with 1/2 cheese alive in each one
  16. I had ablation years ago so usually very light out bit at all . Got mine 2 days after coming home and 28 days later again. Know the adage bled like a stuck pig? Heavy heavy heavy! My dr earned me that it could happen. Going this month will be back to my old normal but doesn't appear to be lol
  17. Tonight 3oz shrimp and 1/2c of cauliflower /sweet potato "rice". No sauce. Ate almost half of it
  18. Same here. Only requirement Highmark had was a psych eval. Most of the requirements I had to meet were of the doctors office
  19. Yep I have him. He's great ?
  20. So started exercising 2 weeks ago. Granted not full bore but easing myself into it since I haven't gotten clearance for more than biking/walking yet and haven't exercised on about 8 yrs. Going 3x week for about 45 min. Enough to do cardio and a few leg reps. I'm 8 weeks post-op today. Have been losing about 5 lbs week. Since I've started exercising it's dropped to at least half that. I know yes I'm still losing but I haven't increased my calories. Still between 500-700 most days (Some days are less than 500) and 60g protein. What am I missing?
  21. OK so now my 48ddd no longer for I had some 44dd. Tried that yesterday yeah no pulled out the 44d I had from 7 yrs ago those for for now. Guess I know where those 5lbs went!!!
  22. You don't necessarily need someone but the help is nice. Hardest part for me was sleeping. Recliner was to hard to get in and out of. I ended up using body pillows in bed and basically slept inclined until i could move my stomach muscles without to much pain. If you are doing robatds my Dr had me on it for 2 weeks before. Avoid the soups they suck. I did the premade chocolate for work. Want a fan of the berry mixes. Do grab the protein bars and pudding. You'll be sucking down alot of water as its not easy and I was hungry. Last thing I said to dr before surgery was to hurry up and get it over with so I could stop starving lol
  23. I used it even before surgery. I love that it's lactose free. Less sugar and more protein.
  24. I try to hit 700. Some days I might only get 500 others 800 just depends. I just make sure I get my protein in!!
