Sleeve surgery instructions
My instructions are four years old..Instructions seem to change. (1) What are your calorie, protein and carbohydrate goals ????? (2) How do you set your goals up in baritastic or myfitnesspal???? (3) Are you doing it by reading food fact labels and writing them down?

Eating and drinking
Real food stage - My instructions are four years old. Not all of our plans are the same. Can you eat lentils? My plan is low carb. Yes, if it fits your carbohydrate goal for the day. Eat your protein goal first then move on to your other foods. Know low carbs will be in weight loss mode. You will be adding more carbs in maintenance phase to slow/stop your weight loss. How do you know if you have hit your carbohydrate goal for the day? My instructions were to log my food in an app. People use baritastic or myfitnesspal. Log even if its a chore and inconvenient at first. It gets to be a habit. It made things much easier. Your goal right now is to get 60 to 100 gram of protein each day and to stay with in your carbohydrate and calorie goals. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.baritastic.view&hl=en_US https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.myfitnesspal.android Here is a link to my dietitians bariatric recipes website for food ideas. (note omit rice, white potato, bread pasta) Some of her recipes (Example clam chowder) has white potato but in minimal amounts. She is fine with. Most carbs come from plant based foods. http://insidekarenskitchen.com/bariatric-friendly-recipes/

Body tension!
Mine are tense and tight from activity. Stretching does wonders. Not sure if that was helpful.

With the sleeve I was told to expect to lose 60% of my weight. We all lose at different rates. Age body physiology, medical issues and medications can be a factor. I was a fast loser. I got to my goal in six months. I would have been fine if it took me a year or more. What is your age bracket? I wish I would have had this done when I was younger.

I'm also a sleeve.

Would you be open to starting a thread asking for sleeve surgery instructions?

Eating and drinking
Wow, I am so sorry this was your experience. I'm sure there is someone here that would be willing to send you their surgery instructions and diet progression. What type of surgery did you have?
-
Eating and drinking
Are you post op? Can I ask why you have no contact with your surgeon or their office? Not drinking while your eating takes a bit of practice. It becomes habit.

Body tension!

The goal is healthy. Whatever that looks like for you. BMI chart is not perfect. It will give you a guideline for a healthy weight. BMI Calculator https://www.google.com/search?q=bmi+calculator&oq=BMI+&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j69i57j69i60j69i59j0l2.3704j0j8&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

❤ JANUARY 2019 CHALLENGE ❤
#14 My biggest NSV so far. Last Saturday, I discovered I can pass the Army PT running requirement. A group of military recruits were being timed on the same track I was running on. It was an adrenaline rush to see if I could keep up with them. (The average age 17 to 31) I kept up with the person in the lead. I was still on the track running after all the recruits completed two miles. Not bad for an old woman who used to be morbidly obese.
