  1. I am eating oatmeal with flax seed and fruit for breakfast , or egg omlette with spinach or peppers and onions, lunch is fruit and half a larabar if i'm out or salad, tuna with veggies and hummus or eggs for lunch and I try to eat what my husband eats for dinner ( on the healthier side) grilled chicken, brown rice and veggies for example,. I drink 1 cup of coffee 16 oz. 1 -16.3 oz water and 2 -32 oz waters . for snack I have either 100 calorie nut, 100 calorie kind bar or skinny pop popcorn 100 calorie bag.
  2. I know I shouldn't complain but i'm having a difficult time losing any more weight. I am almost 6 months out and I have lost 109 lbs. I started at 414 lbs. and now weigh 305 lbs. The problem is I haven't lost any weight in almost 2 weeks, I get on the scale and it says I lost 2 lbs. and then 3 days later it says I gained 4 lbs. it's crazy and I was wondering if anyone has experienced this?? I eat the same things I have since the start of solid foods and I walk 1 1?2 miles a day 5 days a week. I would really like to get some suggestions on what I can do to lose again. ( on the plus side this is the first time I can remember losing weight during the holiday season.
  3. Hi, tenth day post op everything was going great and then I woke up and became dizzy when I got out of bed. My doctor says that it is my blood pressure and to cut my meds in half, anyone else have this happen ? and if so how long before stop getting dizzy when I stand up??
  4. No pain in my left side, slight pain in my right side. I was off my pain meds before I left the hospital( day after surgery.) They did give me pain meds to take home and I have only used them twice. The first few days I had trouble sipping , it really was work! It's day seven and the only problem I seem to have is putting my shoes on so I can go to the gym.
  5. Yes my surgery was 8/6/2018 and I was afraid I was going to die, I woke up the morning of my surgery and really wanted to cancel. I didn't and I'm glad I am 1 week post op and feeling great!! the first day was a little rough but nothing like I expected. I was up and walking 6 hrs post op. I think going in expecting the worst and finding out it really wasn't that bad helped me. P.s. this was my first surgery ever.
  6. I am 5 days post op and it says to start taking vitamins daily, does this include the probiotic , biotin and calcium citrate chews? I bought the Viactiv calcium chews 500 it doesn't say citrate on the bottle is this the right kind?
  7. This sounds awful but I thought I had gas and it wound up being diarrhea, I am 4 days post op??I thought it might be dumping syndrome but I have none of the other symptoms. I did start with my protein powder and water shake. other than that clear liquids , water ice and jello.
  8. I am 2 days post op from gastric sleeve surgery and I got on my scale and it says I weigh 7 lbs. more than the day of my surgery, is this common??
