Every morning, naked and after using the bathroom. I feel it helps me stay on track.

I was told no straws ever. I didn't listen. I've been using them the whole time. I just make sure to not swallow the air I suck up in the straw and to take small sips. I'm all for following Dr's orders but none of them seem to agree on the straw issue. I did what works best for me and helps me get my fluids in.

I LOVE her too; however, her death too was tragic and heartbreaking, not in the same way, but it still really saddens me. As far as "those" times... I am a bit of a vet myself and the people who would go on to parent me, didn't know it and hadn't even thought of me or one another probably! I am just a fan of great music, no matter then genre or time.

And you are right, I love all genre, classical to reggae, and thanks to Music Choice on cable I am pretty knowledgeable. Tomorrow evening is my 55th class reunion, I graduated at 17, one of the young31st. Won a prize for knowing Ruby and the Romantics, but then why,wouldn't I they were from Akron. And of the ways my group showed rebellion was listening to black,owned radio stations. Sounds tame by today's standards, but we thought we were the movers and shakers that were going to save the🌍. Did we? Nope but as Billy Joel said " We didn't start the 🔥. And I have a melancholy strain in me, so I 💓 the 🎵blues and their great 🎤singers.

I’m scheduled for a bypass on August 28. Getting excited! A little nervous - but not too bad. ❤️

So I made pizza for dinner and sadly couldn’t eat much (yay!).
It is a turkey fest! 1 slice of turkey bacon, 6 slices of turkey pepperoni and 1.5 ounces of ground turkey. 1.5 ounces of cheese, 2 tablespoons of sauce, few mushrooms on a cauliflower crust. 4-5 servings.
Protein goals met! Yep!

Thatlooks and sounds great! I can't wait to get to that stage!

Ask if the hospital offer Vitamins maybe cheaper if not come on to Greensboro Westly long has them cheap.

I agree, call your surgeons office as soon as you can. Why would taking pain meds hurt? My not be anything but better safe than sorry. Good luck to you!!!

Okay great! I think I was told the same but wasn’t sure.

I’m still taking what the hospital provided which is oxycodine but I gave no problem with it or Tylenol. Maybe your pain is something else. Have you spoke to your surgeon?

You can inbox me as well. Just look at your broth as a nice dinner that you can’t wait to try. For me beef broth is a piece of chicken smothered in rice and gravy. Silly but It works.

I’m on day 2 post op (sleeved 8/6) 1 & a half days in the hospital, I’m home now. Yesterday I could do everything for myself I even passed some gas ( gas pain is no joke). Today (8/8/18) I woke up on my own little pain and no assistance from anyone. I think it’s a mental thing. I also think it’s going to depend on how you’re feeling after surgery if you will need much help at home. The day of surgery I was soooooo weak but today I feel ready to walk some. A little gas pain and little stomach pain but other then that I’m doing fine for myself. Drinking is a bit of a challenge. Cold stuff worsens my gas pains hot stuff helps me pass gas. Overall, I feel great ! I will be back in no time. Now I’m just waiting to go #2.

Don't give up it will get better! Think about this we all are facing this same challenge, that is hard on us but together we are strong! We can support you only if you don't give up! You got this stay strong!

We just got approved for tums, well its another kind but it's like tums but they are calcium citrate. I was so happy to pay 25 vs 60 every few months.

Omgosh I pay about 25 for my Vitamins for 2 months. I would die if I had to pay more! We can take tums as Calcium though so that cut cost a lot.

I’m feeling great. Still no appetite but everything is going smoothly
