  1. Hi there. Passed swallow test. Drinking fluids now. Not easy. Feel a little nauseous.
  2. Just started fluids after my swallow eval. Just had surgery yesterday. Sending love and light your way. This is not easy.
  3. Yes. I kind of wanna walk around and keep moving today so I’m not going to take the Benadryl right now. Thanks for the replies!
  4. Thanks for the post. Yes I am a little itchy today. Have to tell nurse. I have Tylenol IV going which seems to be taking the edge off.
  5. Yes. Agreed. The worst part was getting he IV put in. They put the mask Over my face and I was out before I knew it. I woke up in recovery. It all seemed to happen in a blink. All went well. Minimal pain. Waiting for swallow study then I begin drinking.
  6. Thanks. Waiting to go down for my swallow study. Once that goes well I’ll be out on clears and then if tolerating will go home. Pain is it as bad as I thought. I feel really good.

  8. Hi there. Had my sleeve yesterday. Post ok the pain between my breasts was horrific. Pain meds wouldn’t touch it. Have been walking and walking and it seemed to go away. I am burping It’s 3am now and just did another five laps around the unit. Walking is key.

  15. Thanks for the reply! Had wicked pain in recovery but have a PCA pump. Eventually kicked in working. Little bit of nausea. One day at a time.
  16. Well I did it! Had my surgery. Now in room getting ready to get up and walk. Went very well per surgeon.

  21. Hi there. I go in for surgery tomorrow. I’m ridden with anxiety and worry but trying to meditate a little and think positively. All will be well. I trust my surgeon and his team. Think ahead to when you’ve lost your weight and you’re feeling so much better. That’s what I’m focusing on. Best of luck.
