  1. I hope to be back at work by the time you’re headed to surgery. Are you going to Mexico too?
  2. I’m headed to BariatricPal Mexico to have a gastric sleeve at the end of this month. I have a desk job and when I had my gallbladder out last year, I was only out from work for about 5 days. I was sore and got tired easily but I was fine. I’m hoping it’s about the same recovery time with the sleeve surgery. When did you all go back to work?
  3. Thank you so much for your words of encouragement, Dr. Illan. Coming from you means a lot to me. I’ll try to stop being such a nervous Nellie! Lol. See y’all soon !!
  4. I’m scheduled to have a sleeve in August and have RA, which is an autoimmune disease. I’m just curious if anyone with RA has had any complications or healing issues? I’m 52 y/o. 5ft 7in. 235lbs. I’m confident in my decision to have this procedure and having it at BariatricPal MX, I’m just nervous about being off my RA meds and having a compromised immune system.
  5. Your post are to encouraging to me! I’m scheduled for a gastric sleeve in Aug and I’m so excited and nervous. Even your comments about small things answers questions and gives a great picture of what to expect. Thank you and I’m so happy for you.
