  1. Wow! Home already? That’s really fast. No time to observe or make sure your ready it seems like. I think we should get a couple nights in to verify all is good a couple days out.
  2. I really don’t think they should send people home so soon so they can catch this stuff easier. I’m glad they did for you. I am praying that you have smoother recovery.
  3. Well I have not gone through surgery yet, but my pre op diet my general BS number is 130’ish. What was your avg reading during your pre op diet phase? that should of been like a general base line to what your post op will look like for awhile
  4. I don’t even think that question came up in my appointments. They put you through everything thing else imaginable but that was not one of them. And if it does come up just say your current and everything was clear. As long as everything is fine ofc.
  5. Congratulations to you both!!

  12. Ok so figured I would update here. The dr canceled my surgery. He made me go back to the dietician. He then rescheduled it for next Wednesday. 6/20th
  13. Your so lucky you have a modern surgeon. Mine only allows liquid. No meat or veggies nothing. In fact I now have to go for a pointless nutrition appointment because I cheated in order to keep the new surgery appointment on the 20th
  14. Why exactly did it get bumped if you don’t mind me asking? And stay strong! I have one of the crazy stricter surgeon who does all liquid diet and I cheated and did the stupidest things and called to let his office know and they now have me going to another dietician appointment and pushing it out till next week. Even though I lost 24 lbs since I started it.

  17. Well my new surgery date is 6/20th
  18. It’s very hard I won’t lie the first few days. You will fight head hunger. Mine was all liquid so you should be pretty good. Trust me you can do it.
  19. Awesome I’m glad you have support because that’s so critical. The one thing I have learned is that you need to keep your list of why you’re doing this handy. It will help give you the strength to keep moving onward and even afterward.
  20. You have us here! We are here for you. Your not alone. You have come this far your very much at the finish line. Your new life is tomorrow!! Celebrate the victory and embrace the new fresh start. Do you have friends/family with you?

  23. Thank goodness that’s one thing I didn’t have to go through. I had it done many years ago. It was strawberry flavored and it was so bad. It ruined any type of strawberry drink, ice cream or shake for several years
