I am gonna share this here because I have nobody else that could understand. I realize now I have always looked shelter from food. Lack of self esteem, self love. Food was always my best friend as sad as it sounds. So I drowned my loneliness, pain, sadness, and anger in food. Thinking this is the least I deserve. I didnt realize how much I was hurting myself until I turned 24 and realized I was 380 pounds. I finally searched for help and got sleeved june first after hard work to get a down payment for a loan. My mum being in the states (Im in costa Rica) I felt really lonely. NOW 13 days post op the depression is terrible, there is no food to comfort me and I am hating and regretting everything right now. I just want to say how admirable you are for dealing with all of this hun. I am sure you feel like you cannot go on especially post op where our bodies are getting used to all these changes. I might be paranoid but Im 8 days post op and things like yogurt, glucerna and broth (homemade without an ounce of fat) are making my stomach hurt. Its like i wish i could take alka seltzer kinda pain. Also have had liquid stool for 2 days. 3-5 times a day. Has this happened to anyone? Hey guys I have terrible overweight and finally saved to get my sleeve done. I thought I would be happy buy im on protein shake and just feeling miserable. Would love some advice. I am supposed to be two weeks on liquids and two weeks on pureed foods after. Then I can start incorporating regular food. Liquid stage sucks. Lol my nutricionist has me on zero sugar so i guess that makes it harder. I cheat with some gatorade sips here and there but thays about it.
