  1. How much are you losing over what time period??? I want to understand the rate that people are losing weight over time. For example I lose 2-3 lbs. every 2 weeks. It seems like its gotten into a regular rhythm.
  2. i broke my stall. I was stuck at 228-229 for 2 weeks and I just weighed in at 225. Woot! Woot! I can't tell you how stressed I was during the stall. I thought I would never lose weight again and that I wasted all this effort on the surgery. Man it was a roller coaster. Not fun.
  3. I am 4 weeks out from surgery and I am starting to realize that I will lose weight, then stall, then lose weight, then stall, etc. etc. Is stalling constantly just a normal part of this process???
  4. Ok. So I am 3 weeks post op. I decided I didn't want to be on puree anymore and jumped to normal (healthy) food - definitely supplementing with protein shakes. I am tolerating everything well. I am just listening to my body and taking it slow but I am definitely eating ahead of schedule by a couple of weeks. Am I a terrible person?
  5. So i am 2 weeks out and only 1 week left of the puree diet. Pureed diet is rough - really boring and I am looking forward to start to eat regular food again.
  6. I am 1 week out of surgery. First couple days we're rough and felt like a big adjustment. Now I am in puree and not really liking it. Looking forward to get to real food. Ate scrambled eggs - only one egg - and that was good. No aversions or changes to taste buds. So it feels like not much has changed. Still crave bad foods...
  7. So my surgery is tomorrow morning. Holy Crap! I can't believe it is here. I am a little bit nervous.
  8. Its the end of my 7th day and I am still alive. I think you do get used to being hungry between drinking shakes. Only 7 more days to go and then it is off to surgery. I took 2 weeks off from work but I hear some people are fine in a couple of days. I hope that will be my experience.
  9. I think it is still hard. I am on 6th day and it is still hard. But I have stuck to it and have had zero cheating and I will continue to stick with the program. Sorry to hear you are struggling. Stay strong.
  10. Thanks Trixie. I noticed when I am at work I am not hungry. The second I get home and have time to think I am hungry. :-(
  11. Ok folks. It has begun. I had my "last" meal last night and started the all liquid pre-op diet today. It wasn't bad. As long as I drank a protein shake every 3-4 hours I had no hunger.

    Pre-Op Diet!!!

That is a good idea. Just sleep my way through the pre-op diet. :-) By the way how do you get that graphical thing on the bottom of your post that shows your weight progress? Everyone seems to have one of those except me. :-(

    June sleevers

Scheduled for 6/27 - starting pre-op diet next Wednesday. Here we go...
  15. Ok. So I am starting my pre-op diet on Wednesday. Little nervous about it. How can I stick to just 5 shakes a day - less than 1000 calories? I am allowed raw vegetables after 3 days.
