Well, things happened so fast it's hard to believe that I am sitting at home with my band in place. It has been up and down these first couple of days. I was so sick to my stomach last night that i was getting cold sweats, no vomiting of course. Not like there would be much to come up anyways. I am having a lot of pain in the biggest incision wich i am guessing they put the band through??? It is nicely bruised all around it. I have found out that I can not lay on my left side or on my back, unless of course i want to be VERY uncomfortable. I have had a lot of burping everytime I take even the smallest sip of water. I am lucky, I have a realy awsome doctor who I am very comfortable will be very supportive through this process. I have had to take the pain meds and the anti-nausea med. I am amazed by those who say they did't need it at all. Maybe I'm a wimp, LOL. I have not really had any desire to have even the broth we are allowed right now. Just been sipping my water and splenda tea! I am definatley going to loose some more wieght by my next appointment, its crazy to think just how much though. Well, I am tired again so i am going to go relax.

  3. I see there are several people on here who have just had thier surgery. I had my surgery on April 17 with Dr. Cywes. I live in Jacksonville, FL and have two children, 7 and 2. I was wondering how everyone is feeling now that they are at home. I am so tired and was wondering if anyone else just feels totally drained? I just want to know what everyone else is feeling. Yesterday I was so sick to my stomach it was crazy, cold sweats and all. Thank the Lord I didnt vomit! I am really scared of that. Maybe I am just looking for comfort to know that what I am feeling is normal. Thanks yall, hope eveyone if recovering well! Sabrina, Banded April 17, 2008 by Dr.Cywes
