NikkiD247 got a reaction from Wanda247 in Dating during weight loss?
I met my boyfriend in March 2018 and had surgery in May 2018. We are still together now, but I’ve had a lot more people try to hit on me than before. Overall, I’m glad he was there for support from the beginning. Get someone who is open minded, but make sure they don’t eat all your leftovers because then they’ll begin to gain weight

NikkiD247 reacted to Kimcamm in The weight creeped up on me. Time to get back on track
Just an update/encouragement . Its been 22 days since I got back on track. As of today I have lost 13 pounds. I have stopped Keto at my doctors advice, as I had some test results indicate dangerous levels of ketones and Protein in my system, however I am very grateful to keto because it gave me a wonderful jump start. I am eating lots of vegtables and watching my portions, low but minimal carbs and not surprisingly this has rendered similar results as keto. I weigh daily and log everything...good and bad and I walk at least 3 times a week. I guess the message is find what works for and motivates you and WORK IT. Everyone is different but whatever motivates you let that be your go to. I have a beautiful suit that I was able to fit when I was at my smallest weight. I took it out from the back of my closet and hung it where I see it everyday. I will get back in that suit soon . Hang in there everyone. We can conquer regain and we will be better, stronger and more determined because of it. Be kind to yourselves and don't let anything or anyone stop your positive progress. Sending hugs and lots of encouragement and positive vibes to everyone.

NikkiD247 got a reaction from Kella112 in Time off for surgery and recovery
I had surgery on May 18th and was back at work by the 24th. The few days I did stay at home were driving me crazy, because I had thoughts of regret, was tired, and in a little pain. My job doesn't require heavy lifting, but I did get tired midday and take naps on my lunch break for the first week. Overall, going back helped me take my mind off the fact that I had surgery. It kept me busy. Just listen to your body.

NikkiD247 reacted to Dubbs in How are the May sleevers doing?
I was sleeved May 7. I’ve lost 44 pounds since surgery and 90 pounds total since January. I’ve had 2 stalls, one recently over the week of the 4th of July(too much junk). I’m vert pleased with the results. I’ve been very fortunate to not have too many issues with pretty much any food. chicken is a little tough for me(especially when dry). Spicy foods I avoid like the plague

NikkiD247 got a reaction from Kaylee.char in How are the May sleevers doing?
Surgery was May 18th. I’m feeling great and learning as I go along. I’m 5’9” and weighed in at 258.8 when I started the liquid diet on 5/11. When I weighed in on 6/26 I was 226.5. That’s 32.3 lbs and I’ve lost about 10-15 inches overall. I’m happy The my weightloss is slow and steady. I’m already starting to see jiggly or sagging skin, so I’ve incorporated light weights and walking. Looking forward to regular foods this weekend but still weary because I don’t want to feel sick. Shrimp and fish have been my bestfriend so far.

NikkiD247 got a reaction from Frustr8 in Anyone NOT lose their hair?
I’ve wondered about this as well. I have bra strap length locs and would hate to part from them. Good thing I looked on this thread and found some helpful info. Thanks everyone!! Doesn’t hurt to try.
