    Hungry!

I used to get excited for my twice a day vitamins because they were chewable. This too shall pass...it’s not fun, but it’s a big part of the process
  2. I would be calling daily if it were me

    OOTD

Thanks! Started a new job about 6 weeks ago and it’s been super stressful and time consuming. Still keeping up with my protein, water and exercise, but it’s been a transition for sure!

    Gastric bypass surgery and holidays

I used to love chocolate...now it tastes like chemicals. Try it, you may hate it
  6. 6 weeks for the actual break I believe. I ended up with an infection though, so it was two surgeries.
  7. I cook one dinner, if the kids don’t like it/want it, we offer yogurt and fruit.
  8. I did for a broken ankle, don’t really know if that’s what you’re looking for

    Freaking out a little bit

Still way too early, give your body some time. It just had major surgery and needs some time to adjust

    carbonated drinks?

I am a pretty strict rule follower; but I’ve had beer and white claw on occasion. Hasn’t been an issue
  11. I’m really into hot cocoa these days too! Such a yummy treat

    Psych Eval

Your surgeons office can provide you with a list
  13. It’s wasn’t the pain for me, I actually had very little pain/complications. It was just the fatigue that followed. It took me a good 4-6 weeks to get my energy back. Maybe it was just me though 🤷🏼‍♀️
  14. I’m a teacher, had the bypass! Please wait until the summer, I know it’s hard but there’s no way I could have returned to teaching 2-3 weeks afterward. Feel free to message me if you have questions
  15. Being diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and being told I needed to have my gallbladder removed. I was 35 and my body was literally falling apart

    14-day Pre-op Starts Today

Glad to hear you’re feeling so positive! The pre-op for me wasn’t fun but it also felt super empowering! Like I was finally in charge again! Keep up the good vibes
  19. My health was my #1 concern, but of course looking good is a great reward
  20. Grab you meal plan (should probably consist of liquids at the moment) and follow it. That’s the only way this is going to work for you. Trust the process and no more breadsticks. Eating foods like that right after major surgery is actually dangerous. If you need help, reach out to your surgeons office, nutritionist or therapist

    Fish & chips?

    No, plain and simple
  22. I feel like I’ll need to tape those hand warmer things all over my body this winter ☹️
  23. So after losing 130+ pounds, I’m always cold...but tonight I attended a football game, I was dressed appropriately for the 43° weather. I had on gloves and boots but my fingers and toes went completely numb. It took nearly an hour, once we left the game, for the feeling to fully return. How am I going to survive winter this year if I can’t even tolerate fall weather??? 😩
