@YoBL Its awesome you are able to identify the mental hunger thing. That scares me more than surgery, not being able to get past that.

WHat kind of protein powder is the tastiest/cheapest?
I bought the syntrax nectar sampler on amazon. I did it so that i would have a variety and wouldnt get sick of one or two flavors. I also bought the unjury chicken soup protein powder as a savory option.

Sleep Study
Mine was overnight at a sleep center. I had to stop any caffeine by 4 pm, be there by 9pm, get my wires hooked up, be in bed by 11 and i was out around 6 am. Its not bad, just don't plan to get a good night sleep.

@newmebithebypass My pre op diet is actually one of the easier ones ive seen. I get a protein shake for breakfast, protein bar for lunch, 3 oz of lean meat and salad with 1 serving of fat free dressing and 6 unsalted crackers, for dinner. I can have sugar free jello and popsicles in between if i get hungry. I start mine Aug 14th.
