Hello-
I am a 37 year old mom of 1 little boy and wifey to my wonderful husband! I originally had VSG October of 2012. My surgeon was Dr. Peter Rovito. I was able to lose approx. 95 lbs and keep it off for the better part of 5 years. In October of 2015, I got pregnant with my son. I only gained about 25 lbs while pregnant and slowly lost it and got back on track after I had my son. Unfortunately during this time, I was changed on medication for depression and anxiety. This change had my weight increase drastically. I gained about 65 lbs in 8 months time. I was switched on medication again and seem to be doing better. I also started getting careless when it came to mindless eating. Grazing, diet sodas, sugary foods, etc. started packing on even more weight. I had to do something...  
I am lucky enough to be getting VSG Revision. I am following all of my guidelines and restrictions to prepare me. I am ready to get my life and health back!  Many don't get a second chance as their insurance only gives a "once in a lifetime" coverage. Some go to other countries. I'm just so very fortunate. 
My scheduled surgery is set for 7/25/18 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest with Dr. Boorse.
