First vacation since 2007
4 days and 3 nights in Vegas and i had such a great time i can hardly believe it.
eating was a pain but i just ignored the fact that i was paying way to much and then throwing most of it away.
no IF those days but back on it today and feeling real good.
I was surprised this morning that i weighed exactly the same today as the morning i left
i was sure i would put a pound or two with how hard it was to eat clean in the casino's
played so much poker this week, man i had a blast. I played for 13 hours on Thursday and i could hardly get to sleep i was so hyped.
Hope everyone has had a great week and that life is being good to you all.

Tomorrow is surgery day... I'm not sure if I'm nervous, anxious, excited or a little bit of all three. I honestly thought I would be freaking out at this point, but I'm much calmer than that. I suppose the last 7 months of preparation both physically and mentally has brought me some peace. I say this now, but when I try to sleep tonight, that may be a different story.
I appreciate everything I've read on this forum that has helped me to prepare as much as possible. I know this part of my journey may not be the same as someone else's, but having a good frame of reference helps a ton.
The most exciting and most difficult part of the journey begins tomorrow...

I broke 150 lbs today!!!!
150 lbs has been my wall for the past 15 years. I've dieted down to the low 150s 3 times only to regain what I lost and more.
I am now officially 149.7 lbs as of this morning. Yay me!

Well January finally did it. Started the month and ended the month at the exact same weight.
First time my weight journal has had a Zero written in it.
Feb 1 is the 18 month mark and it does feel like the end of one journey and the start of another.
Do not see the surgeon again till August but he was happy at 175 so i do not see any issues there.

Oh, man, I was at work sitting at my desk, and suddenly found that I was crossing my legs! I mean, not completely knee-over-knee, but it's a total Non-Scale Victory for me - I've never really been able to cross my legs!

I am now 2 weeks post op. I am on the liquid diet and am finding myself dying for another flavor other than sweet. The broths are making me feel sick. Any suggestions would be great. My surgery was on the 15th and now it the 25th. I have lost 23 lbs and feel I am on a plateau. Next week I get to start blended food. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If you have suggestions please let me know. Also does spicy food irritate the stomach or cause dumping?

Ten years ago I had by-pass surgery. My starting weight was 562. It has been a long road, and I wanted my goal to be 180. I am 218 and now I find out my weight for 5'1" should be 143. I really think I can get that thin. HELP!!!!!
