Once again I thank you for sharing your experience, I’ve had the same symptoms too, I was sleeved on 3/27/18. I guess for now patience is the best way to go for me, I know we are all different. Please continue to share your journeys. Eventually we can look back and see how much we have all progressed.

It will! Just hold on. We all heal differently, all surgeons do the surgery different, some of us had more stomach removed than others, etc. Just keep on pushing through, because it is so worth it. I feel my clothes getting baggier and baggier every day!

I am 3/20, I have quite a few issues. Sneezing a lot, acid reflux which wakes me up at night, insomnia, weak, incisions still hurt at times and my mood isn’t normal but I believe our bodies are going to take time to heal and we will get there. Taking time and having patience is where we are right now

Does anyone else still feel a bit of discomfort? Not 100% normal? My surgery date was 3/13 I moved on to stage 3 however I feel yucky, discomfort, when I eat it's way to heavy and get super gassy, most of the time I don't feel like eating because of this. I fear I may have some regrets about the vgs.

I was hungry the day after surgery. What are you honestly gonna do then? You CAN'T eat or you will buggar your surgery. That is what I mean about being prepared. I "get" stressed. We're all stressed leading up to surgery. It's a scary stressful, NORMAL time.
But if you have any doubts of having the intestinal fortitude to muscle through after surgery to keep from injuring yourself until you are at least healed, then that's when I would call the ball, talk to your team, get counseling, and proceed after they tell you you're ready. Cuz you DON'T wanna be only 50% at 5 years. F that! You want to maintain for life, don't you? I know I do.

Are you Getting enough Fluid in also? When your body is not moist enough every pain is intensified, are you giving your body a chance to rest? Stressing will also make pain worse, you have been through major surgery, although you are strong and capable of a lot, give yourself permission to relax and recuperate.Other than all my "old wife" type suggestions If it persists consult the medical people in your life. You and your comfort do matter![emoji6]
