I've been looking high and low. My weight loss office said I can't have no more than 6g of sugar to avoid dumping syndrome.... Because other applesauce I see is no sugar added or unsweetened....but still has sugar when I read the labels.....can someone help me out here.... Even seeing recipes to make me own....

Sorry for your struggle, hang in there. Your body will take a break from losing after rapid weight loss to heal and adjust - be patient - during this time it is likely inches will fall off, so take measurements. You are doing fine weight wise and your team will help you through these adjustments. You can do it.
I definitely appreciate your response. Thank you for the positive words. Mich appreciated.

Was recently put on a liberate diet due to me not being able to keep food down along with my medication. Also I have lost about 45 pounds since my surgery that was March 1st. They want me to eat mashed potatoes, crackers, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, low fat yogurt, sugar free jell-o, and creamy soups.... Food is definitely not appealing to me. But my weight is at a standstill.... Having a hard time coping with this. I know it's the beginning but I just don't want to fail....
They also prescribed a medicine that goes behind my ear to help with nasuea but it have me blurry vision so I stopped it but my vision is still blurry. They told me to stop all medicine to see how I would do temporarily.

It's definitely horrible I have my surgery March 1st. And it's frustrating waking up with dry mouth and the metallic taste.

That's an awesome idea...

I've been struggling with liquids because it hurts and I can't catch my breath even when sipping. So just while ago my girlfriend sees me crying and I said I can't do this anymore. And she said won't you try using a spoon like you did with your Isopure drink. So I tried it and it definitely helps. Because me holding a cup up to my mouth doesn't work well with me. So spoon it is....

If you are cleared for cream of rice or wheat, I wouldn't see why not . To my mind it would be easier than oatmeal to digest Nut don't make it real thick at first.[emoji173].[emoji13]

I want grits!!! I wonder if I can?

Enjoy it while it lasts guys. The feeling of non-hunger only lasts for 3-4 months. I know it’s frustrating right now but soon enough you’ll look back fondly to the days you could survive off Protein Shakes & ice. I know I do!
My best friends during the purée stage were the ricotta bake and sugar free pudding and apple sauce. I wasn’t allowed meat until 6-7 weeks into it and only soft pulled meats at best
I can't have no fruits veggies grains Beans nothing but meat yogurt popsicles and a little bit of cheese

I’ve been exactly the same. Just can’t do the purée. I’ve been sticking with yogurt, cottage cheese and popsicles. I’m almost one month post op. Wednesday is 4 weeks and I’m hoping I’ll be more motivated during soft stage.
Question is having popsicles considered eating or just getting in liquids? Like would it be okay to eat ice or the Protein Drink cubes I made or to even have sips of Water?

Yeah because my program said I need to lose at least 75% of my excess weight. I'm only at 17% since my visit on the 15th.

Peace and blessings to you...

I had the gastric bypass. I'm on the pureed stage and I'm totally not feeling food. All I want is popsicles and ice cubes. I have one egg in the morning and after that I'm pretty much over it. I have my Isopure Protein Drinks but ice cube form. Can you guys give me some ideas what to try. I really only like chicken and sausage no other kind of meat.< /p>

Sparkling Water is not good. Carbonated. If you are pre-op then it is fine but after surgery will not be able to have it.
Okay just wanted to check. Glad I asked. Thank you. -
Nestle makes a Pure Life non sparkling line that is very good. Comes in mixed berry, lemon, Mandarin orange, and my favorite Acai,Grape. No calories and it even tastes good warm at room temperature. Give it a try! Runs about $1,50 for a 6-pack at Wal-Mart.

Do you think it would hurt to have some of it then like a tablespoon?
