I am determined and excited for this new change and I vowed not to tell my family until after surgery because each of them have an opinion about weight lost. I’ve always been the chubby one since I can remember and was called horrible names and made fun of because of my weight. 9 yrs ago I lost weight and to them it was too much weight ( 178lbs) size 8 from 215lbs. I was bullied to eat more like seriously . So this time I’m standing my ground and I’m going to do it my way ( with doctors help of course) I’m excited

@logicwand so days I’m so excited and some days I’m really nervous and I think about it constantly. I really need this change to help put me back on track . The odd part of it is I can’t really tell my family because everyone has their opinion. Only my husband and 2 close friends know .

I have one week to go until my surgery. The count down is REALLY on. I couldn’t be more excited about this change in my life.
I do have some nervous feelings, as expected l, but I believe this is the right thing to do. I am going into surgery with one of my very best friends. I will have the best support from her!
Having had surgery on my uterus l, I know the gas pain is going to be the worst part of this but I am ready to conquer it! WALK WALK WALK.

Gah how do you deal with the wait?!? I hate waiting. Patience is my least favorite virtue, and I've neglected it quite wonderfully. But 1 week away is fantastic! What are you doing to distract yourself? Are you on a liquid preop?
I know the pain of the gas too having had my gallbladder out, that stuff is brutal!

I have lost 41 lbs since being sleeved 10/13/17. I feel like the loss rate has been sooooo slow and had to overcome a few stalls. I have 25 lbs still to lose to hit my ultimate goal weight. But I have 7 months to lose that weight to make my goal.

I did a face transformation comparison the other day for myself. Needed to see the change to remind myself that even though I feel like the loss is slow, there is still loss.

I had antipathy and little hunger in the first week or so? But now, sure, I get hungry. But like others have said, it's not the same "kind" of hunger. The intensity, white knuckle, will power fight isn't there for me. I just know I need to get food in my tums. And you know, 2oz Protein + 1/2oz of veg to 1oz of veg and boom, done. It's interesting cuz I thought I would want to cook and engineer a lot of foods. But now, I'm like, dang, I have opened canned chicken, cooked chicken tenders, cooked shrimp, sliced turkey. I can just mix and match and as God is my witness, I shall never cook again!!!
Yesterday I pulled out 2oz canned chicken, 1/2oz of steamed leftover broccoli and some WF Italian Zero Cal dressing and was done in 20 minutes of eating. Full for 4 hours.

Feeling great!

I’m so happy I’m finally at 160!!!!!!! I have been struggling for quite sometime to get the scale to move.
