  1. Well my carbs are staying between 15-20 and very little sugar IMG_6125.JPG IMG_6125.JPGwIMG_6125.JPG
I say very little.. 10-11 g which is like 2.5 tsp of sugar a day. I didn't realize I was taking in so much Protein but since I'm still in the thicker liquid stage I figured I needed to up it until I get to soft foods

  2. Can I ask you how you get that much Protein and I’m struggling here I’m barely putting in 35 to 40 of Protein and Water at the same time I was sleeved 2/26 what about you any advice would help thanks

I put my GENEPRO in all my Soups and I do 3 Premier Protein shakes( Breakfast lunch and dinner) until I move to puréed and soft phase. I know how important the protein is so I make sure when I make jello- genepro is in it. pudding, genepro. Lol

  3. No it’s also about telogen effluvium. The portion of hair that is in the particular stage of growth during the surgery will fall out regardless. It’s an after effect of the anesthesia. Happens to me every time I go under no matter the type of surgery or nutrition.

Now nutrition is another cause and some are more susceptible to telogen effluvium than others, so no absolutes. But sadly for some of us it’s not avoidable no matter the Vitamins or protein!

Here’s a great article explaining it—

I went to hair school and I swear by this.

Put peppermint oil and lavender oil in your Shampoo and conditioner (mix well) I did 20 drops of each. This is not scientific but I've done a lot of research and it is guaranteed to work by my evaluations.

  4. One year out and stalled out!! Very depressed and stressed! Gained 10# when I had to move in with my mother before the holidays. Life still isn’t normal for me, probably never will be but I’m scared of failing this - seems like I fail at everything! I could use some pointers on what to do in order to get back on track! One year out and I’m only 65# down!! Any advice is much appreciated!

Have you tried maybe doing a liquid "fast" for a few days or even changing the type diet you're doing??

  5. I am so excited about this journey!!! I'm going into day 9 and I feel amazing. I went for my first 30 min walk today (I walk every day but today I started this as my exercise)

Question... Protein goal every day is 70 g... is it a problem If I go over?? This is how my day looked IMG_6125.JPG
