Feel like I made a mistake.

Thank you for all the replies and encouragement as my emotions tend to go in waves. I try to be strong but the weak moments get me down sometime. I need to jump on the scale more often, that might keep my spirits up. 26lbs down from the night before my surgery surgery.

I didn't have much trouble with the goals as I get my protein, water and supplements in. I dont know if my protein regimin would help you. But I sip a premier protien drink half in the am and half around dinner, that's 30g. Breakfast is either a oikos triple zero yogurt thinned down a bit with some skim milk so it doesn't sit so heavy, 15g. Or a dannon light and fit yogurt shake,12g. Whichever I don't have for breakfast I have for a snack later. I eat the yogurt slowly with a baby spoon and get up and walk for a few to help with the bloated gasey feeling. Just those three things are 57g, throw in some broth for dinner and I can usually get over 60g. Water is just a constant small sip, but ever since surgery and having only ice chips that day I have a new found love of ice water. I have a 24oz shake cup that goes with me everywhere.
  3. I'm ten days post op and feel hungry. I see food on billboards in commercials and just about everywhere. I'm still in my liquid diet phase but if I'm having this much trouble already, how am I gonna be successful. The food industry has perfected that subliminal advertising that calls to me and instantly makes me want food. What they do should be illigal when obesity related illnesses kills more people annually than drugs, alcohol, and smoking combined. Hoping it gets easier.. March-April Rny-ers

Yeah the bloating and gas really takes some time to get used to. I eat with a baby spoon and I get up and walk around after a few bites, it helps.

    March-April Rny-ers

Pretty good I think. No complications, just some minor discomfort after eating the first few days. It's getting better every day. The Staples are driving me nuts. But if that's my biggest problem so far, I'll take it. Feels like I'm starting to get hungry, but it's a different feeling. More of a mental hungry without hunger pains. Following the diet exactly though.
