  1. Goody good for you in every way! Let us know more of your good news when it happens, okay?[emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. Do what you think you need to do to get ready, rest if you can now because after surgery you'll be having it necessary to move every hour or so, keeps the likelihood of blood clots down, gets rid of the gas in your abdominal cavity, and if you are getting enough fluids in you'll be tinkeling lots. One lady claimed she had as many potty breaks as late stage pregnancy and she didn't get a cute baby out of the deal this time. When you scurry around like you are pre-baby they call it a nesting syndrome, what you are displaying now? Tying- up-loose-ends-itis, for lack of a better name. Ah kid ---we do[emoji173]you bunches! 3. Sinusitis which has persisted for close to a month. On my 4th antibiotic to try to clear it up. When I blow my nose and I do that fairly frequently, I think that Barbie woman was right--i am rotten inside. Ah but she was the only pile of bovine excrement I've ever, met on Bariatric Pal. Most people on here are beautiful people who are very helpful to everyone. Am I closer to surgery? Not really but the wheels are still turning but not with much speed. I have a 2. hour psych appointment at OSU with their staff psychologist Dr Kramer 10AM-Noon at Martha Morehouse Pavilion in Columbus. My PCP says to just act like my wonderful, self and things will be fine. What if they screw me over like the other program did? How,much sorrow and frustration am I supposed to accept? Since I completed all of the prerequirements from the other program will they accept them all? So many questions So few answers--- what next?[emoji31][emoji13][emoji31] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. Any updates @ emallard? I know you said 2-3 weeks, seems like they should about be up. So tell me tell me tell me![emoji6][emoji6][emoji6][emoji6] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  5. So how was the park and how are you doing? Still looking forward to surgery day? I know I am, it's been so long it may almost seem anticlimactic but I still will be filled with joy![emoji12][emoji13][emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. So coachy71 how are things going for you? Miss seeing your postings, guess I like to keep all Bariatric Ducks in a row.[emoji213][emoji625] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  7. Hey could the orange liquid be semi-digested bile? Been puzzling on this subject for awhile[emoji21][emoji21][emoji21][emoji21] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. As soon as I have a definite surgery date I will be ONE of your customers and you and I will both be glad.[emoji13][emoji13]. ]And having checked out a couple other places your prices seem reasonable. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. Is it supposed to be rogue instead of rouge? Rouge is what old ladies put on their cheeks to mimic blushing or healthy rosy cheeks. Sure ladies my age are pale, as the song says "don't get out much anymore".[emoji31] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. Baby steps now, you'll be stronger and able to run in the Life Marathon later![emoji42][emoji42][emoji42][emoji42] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. I hope when I have mine I'll do as well as many of you have done. Thank you for all the varied points of view, I'm sure I'll glean enough to make mine successful. AM I getting closer? Geeesh I sure hope so, being in a waiting pattern is not where I planned to be this spring. I'd beat my head against a cement block except for the fact I'd get a Headache and risk a concussion. And I'm already as addled a redhead as you could find[emoji31]so it wouldnt benefit me any. At my age you soak up as many benefits as possible, who knows what will happen next in Congress or my Statehouse? Tomorrow I face with wonder, I wonder what will happen next? I'm still hanging with you happy campers till my day comes and beyond.[emoji12][emoji12][emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. Looks like March is ending smoothly and successfully, now on to April showers[emoji299] and the blessing of surgery for more people[emoji14] Can't hardly wait to read their stories also. Each one I say Hey That Could Be You and one of these days,it will be!!![emoji354] My time will come![emoji70][emoji254] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  13. Dathvick you look like one righteous dude. I'd like you in my corner come trials and tribulations. If I were a bad guy, looked you in the eyes and you said "Bring It On" I'd turn tail and run like my life depended on it, cause it probably would. Thank you for sharing this picture with us[emoji14] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. I sure don't want to date Kim Jong Un, that dude is major weird! Do you think if we got him a campership to BatiatricPalMX, He could have a bypass or VSG and it might improve his outlook on the world and sweeten his spirit? Just asking![emoji51] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. And one of my problems with my own postings, I must have a big fat thumb because I end up putting commas where they don't belong.[emoji6] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. Congratulations on your Weight slowly and steadily diminishing. I'm curious to see everyone's suggestions for your trip. Have a ball in Vegas, what stays there and what you share with us, that's your choice.[emoji14][emoji626][emoji14] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. I have a bucket list of places I'd like to visit before I die and Israel is high on the list.[emoji14] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  18. You know much of what you are(and what I someday soon will be) encountering reminds me of after my 1st childbirth. Sure I had gone to childbirth classes, I had heard about all the rainbows[emoji304]the stars in the heavens aligning in my favor, the sparkly hearts and lovely music! What they forgot to mention the muss, fuss and bother of it all. You come home with your nether regions drippy and sore. You have come off that post delivery high when everybody congratulated you because you had performed a miracle, now you are tired and close to bone-a** weary. Every time you start to sit down (which hurts like they chopped something off) or lie down, Junior lets out a squall. There is something utterly demanding about a small baby crying and like a tired old firehorse you are back on duty. As time goes by you and Junior do settle into a routine but at 1st it's about as easy and satisfying as doing the breaststroke in a large vat of pancake syrup. And in its way the post surgery 1st days at home will be the same. But many others have gone through the same things & emerged On the other side victorious. You and I will too, this I do believe. And there are oodles of people on BP who have your back emotionally. Vent if you need to at the sheer injustice of it all, but in the end it will be SO WORTH IT! [emoji173] and hugs,to you ,honey! 19. Yeppers since they usually admit you fairly early that AM , that probably is your date with Destiny. Congratulations, stay peaceful in your soul, it will be easy peezy and the future will shine brightly for you![emoji12][emoji12][emoji12][emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  20. Could you use the fruit essences liquids you find in the Soda Stream display, no calories. Could you use them for flavoring I protein shakes like you do with mio and crytal lite? Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  21. Abriel I am Irish enough my 2 sons names: Kevin, and Bryan .I have strawberry blonde hair, is it possible to be an overweight Celtic princess? Malones In my mother's side, Murphy in my father's but 1 extra generation farther back. I suspect that there is Native American in my paternal ancestry but they never admitted it. Do you have Wikipedia on your cell phone or computer? If so look,up Peoria indians, there should be among the pictures --one of a middle aged woman, the N.A. woman is the spitting image,of Aunt Minnie my father"s older sister, instead of someone hidden in a woodpile, I may have somebody lurking in the woods. That branch of family- Priest, but I think it's should have been Shaman. Oh well,, most of us Americans are mutts anyway- our ancestors came from a multitude of different lands. But we do have a can -do attitude and hybrid vigor in us all[emoji13][emoji38][emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  22. And that may be how things will be from now on, you will have an adult relationship with food, it will be there for fueling up, you will give it healthy food for your body to digest and it will repay you in a better and fitter.body, more things will be easier to accomplish and you won't be huffing and puffing like a broken down steam engine.[emoji31] And you won't achieve the proper status eating bad junky foodstuffs. 23. You are swollen still from 1. Just having had major surgery 2. You had tubing in your trachea to assist with your breathing while unconscious. 3.you had an endoscopy tube down your esophagus and into your stomach to help size your sleeve properly 4. You had been NPO since midnight the night before? Your throat might have been as dry as the Kalahari Desert. Even with a lot of lubrication things might have scraped a little going,in and when they were removed. Hey it should rapidly get better day by day, you'll soon be fine and able to smile about this chapter in your journey.[emoji12][emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
