TMI Topic - Liquid Diet Stool

I am on week 2 of my liquid diet. My surgery is in 2 days. Today, I was sitting watching a movie. I felt a little funny and then an orange liquid came out of my bum and soiled my clothing. It did not look like poo at all. It looked like orange water, slightly transparent. Is this because of the liquid diet?

Same thing happened to me today except I managed to make it to the throne. I think it is just the body adjusting to higher amounts of protein and fewer carbs. Our bodies really don't like change that much. Just make certain that you are re-hydrating to replace lost fluids. This is incredibly unpleasant ... trust me, I know it sucks. When is your big day? Mine is on March 12th.

March 7th, in 2 days.

I had to do 2 weeks of protein Preop. Then 4 weeks Postop. Believe me I had the back door trots like you wouldn't believe!! Finally my PA told me that I was lactose intolerant. DUH why didn't you tell me that from the beginning. Totally normal being watery and yellowish also It sure is the pits. You are getting so close to your surgery just a few more days. You've got this!!
