  2. I think the surgeon puts reinforcing stitches in there to support the muscular wounds until they heal, from what I've read on here when it finally released varies from a couple weeks to a month or more. Since I am pre-surgical I will find out how it is for me afterward. I am expecting surgery in a couple weeks so we will see how,my,own case turns out.πŸ˜›

  3. Wowee You are on Speed Dial instead of slogging along forever like I feel I have done. But you are very welcome and we are proud to add you to our world-wide group. I am 72, BMI of 47, planning RnY bypass surgery yet this month, I should find out an exact date 7/17/2018. It will be at Ohio State University Hospital with Bradley J Needleman. the top Dog Bariatric Surgeon. there so I am a lucky lady. Been on this trek since August 2015, many stops and starts, but soon it will be completed and I can start on a future life more healthy, more fit and a lower weight is pretty cool too. Lets share this experience together!πŸ˜›πŸ€πŸ™πŸ˜·πŸŒˆ

  4. And Courtney Anne mine should be pretty close to yours, I will find out July 17th at 11:15AM when I meet at Ohio State University with. my Bariatric Surgeon Bradley J Needleman, the chief of Bariatric Surgery and Metabolic Weight Loss . Frustr8 landed herself the Big Kahuna, very smart, surgically talented and I have no qualms about putting my 72 year body into his care. And July will be the month of both of our Surgical REBIRTHDAYS.πŸ™πŸ˜›πŸ€πŸ˜·πŸ£

  5. And after my presurgical consult Tuesday morning at 11:15 am EDT I will be able to tell you Ohio State University' s policies for me. My Life After Bariatric Surgery booklet, all 56 large pages says 2-4 weeks, then qualifies it by saying Subject to BMI , general physical condition and Surgeon's Discretion. So We Shall See What We Shall See, but at any rate I will do what they say for I want my RnY bypass with a ferocity few can credit!πŸ˜·πŸ€πŸ˜›πŸ™πŸ€

  6. That is because people are seldom interested when things go good, now if you turn sky blue, one leg falls off or the chair collapses and you break a hip falling down the hospital's front steps, that is newsworthy.

  7. I just think a trip in and out,of refrigeration is a study,in silliness. That chicken is equally nutritious, if you buy it hot and if you buy it cold. Same bird after all. Rather, like beverages in Ohio, if you consume, them on the restaurants premises you pay taxes, even on a outside patio . If you buy it, say it's "To Go" you don't have to pay. Many times I've seen people buy something then sit on the street curb and drink it. Technically it's on the city's right of way. Years ago when we vacationed in Florida, hubby, wanted to go into a racetrack, left me and the children in the car. Didn't know it is illegal for minors to be there in that state. Had to leave the, parking lot and go across to a private lot across the street and pay to sit there while hubby finished what he was doing. My good friend who lives, along the Ohio,River said, they had to do their fooling around in Ohio, because if they went to Kentucky or West Virginia he could be charged with taking her "across state lines for immoral purposes." I said " Oh yeah, like the FBI,is going to bother to haul you in?"
