  2. Have you called your insurance company yourself? They were very nice and seemed even excited for me:)
  3. My bariatric nurse told me to wait 14-30 days!! I would had gone mad! Haha
  4. Will surgeons take it out upon request?
  5. That's what i was thinking. The caffeine headaches are the worse but I think I am getting past them now. It's a hard road. lol
  6. Oh I'm so happy for you! I know how you are feeling!!
  7. Thank you! I feel like I have won the lottery!! haha
  8. Congrats to you!! Yes it really is!!
  9. WOW!! I thought I was the only one that would ever worry about bringing up past boyfriends while loopy!! haha! I can't even begin to wonder why that even crossed my mind but sure enough it did!! Plus I don't wanna be gassy in front of current sweetheart! No way on that one!! I am also terrified that I will come back to work and have stomach issues (dumping) and won't make it to the bathroom on time!! I will be terrified to even try to eat anything while I am there for fear of it!
  10. I so hope so!! I have already quite caffeine, most sugar and carbs. So I am trying to get ahead and maybe it won't be so hard when time is actually here.
  11. So being the impatient women that I am I could not wait another moment and called UHC to ask about my paperwork that had been submitted just two days ago lol She told me I was already approved!! I am so excited! Thank you Jesus!! Now I am just waiting on a call from my Dr's office:) Man things have really flown by!! Hope all is well with everyone!! Happy Losing!!
  12. What insurance company do you have?
  13. They submitted my papers to UHC but my Drs office said she was kinda nervous because of the way my personal Dr filled out my 6 month nutritional visit paper. She said UHC was so picky so we will have to wait and see. I have done everything they asked so I hope my dr being lazy on penmanship doesn't cause me delays. She also said UHC takes atleast 2 weeks....UGH!! Lol NO PATIENTS RIGHT NOW!
  14. I did. It said maybe blood from the hernia
  15. No iron supplements yet. Just my one a day, calcium, fish oil and b12. I have taken these for years,
  16. Toxins? Well that's a good thing isn't it? And that makes sense. I have an appt with them in a couple of weeks and will ask. I must have a lot of toxins in there....lol Thanks so much!! I see you just had surgery. I hope all is well with you and you are on the mend!!
  17. OK...I really hate to ask such a question but really need to know. I have been trying to prepare for my upcoming surgery by eating low carb foods, cutting out all soda, caffeine, and sugar. I have surprised myself and really done well with it all. I suppose I am just trying to make it all easier on myself after surgery when I'm sure it's gonna be the hardest. Ok...the weird thing, now my poo is solid black. I do have a hiatal hernia so maybe that is playing some part in it. Should I be alarmed or is this just the diet change? I'm sorry, I know this is TMI but just kinda worried. Thanks in advance and happy losing everyone!!
  18. It does and thank you! I just didn't want to tell them or have them knowing nor did I want to get into any trouble by not telling them. People are so nosey here at work and the whole place would know if I'm not careful...lol
  19. I am 5"2. My starting weight was 227 and I am currently 223. My goal is 135!! So excited!!
  20. I was wondering...will my insurance (UHC) inform my work of my upcoming surgery? Are they entitled to do so? I really didn't want them knowing and was going to use my vacation days instead of telling them. Thanks and happy losing!!!
  21. I was wondering the same thing. My last NUT visit is in June and it's the last of my requirements. I was wondering once they send my papers to UHC how long should it take for me to hear back?
  22. Well the blood work was first, took about 5 min. They then took me across the hall to see the therapist. They said he comes to the weight loss clinic twice a month for them. That took about 15 min. Then they prepped me for the endoscopy. While i was waiting for the dr they done the EKG. The endoscopy took about half an hour then I had a short wait in recovery. We got there at 9am and was litterally done at 11:30am. No kidding. lol With my insurance I have to go to a Center of Excellence so they don't play around.
  23. Mine was the same as most. I filled out a questionnaire that asked like 600 questions, most the same just worded different, then seen a therapist. I was int here maybe 15 min. He asked about support and about my relationship with my spouse and my eating habits, and if i had any addictions, then i was done. Very simple.
