  1. Congratulations!! I just checked mine and I am too!
  2. I just checked too! I'm ALSO just overweight! Yay us! My surgery was 8/15/18.
  3. I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your precious grandson and loving mother
  4. Why do you have six more months to lose the last 35 lbs? What's driving that time limit?
  5. Congratulations! Reaching ONEderland was one of the most exciting milestones for me.
  6. I will gladly share my results because I am proud of myself but I really truly want to caution you against comparing to others as each person's journey is different. I had my surgery 6 months ago on August 15th. Pre surgery diet I lost 15 lbs (weighed 265), plus another 60 lbs post sleeve surgery to date, for a total of 75 lbs! I now weigh 190! I'm in my early 50s and don't remember the last time I was in ONEderland. But I will not lie, it hasn't been easy. There's a lot involved, especially the mental part. Good luck.
  7. Lookin' good!
  8. I went to the mall for help in buying a new bra. The sales person grabbed a t-shirt for me to try on with the bras. When she handed it to me I paused and said I'd probably need a larger size. She said it was a medium which is what she said looked like my size. And by golly, it fit!
  9. My #1 takeaway from this community is this: Do. Not. Compare. Yourself. To. Others. #2 Do not weigh every day. 26 lb loss so far is awesome so focus on that accomplishment. Best wishes on your continued journey.
  10. I echo what others have commented above. You've got this!
  11. Congratulations! I reached it a couple weeks ago. Such a great feeling.
  12. What does your Dr say? It seems everyone's program is different. For the first several months mine said to focus on protein and liquids only, not to worry about calories.
  13. I'm just about 6 months post sleeve, weight loss 70 lbs incl pre surgery diet. Yes I've eaten unhealthy at different times, including having alcohol. But I know myself and if I completely remove unhealthy things then I will end up binging at some point and it may take a long time to get back on plan so I just stay mindful of my choices and most days I do eat healthy. Best of luck on your journey.
  14. Ditto what JessLess said. It's common to feel that way. And it will get better. Keep reaching out for support. Hang in there.
  15. Great job keeping it off! I read so many stories about regain that it's really nice to hear a positive story. Congratulations!
  16. I'm sorry you've slipped. I hope you are able to get back on track soon. Thank you for reminding us to always stay vigilant.
  17. Baritastic. Love it.
  18. Me too! Didn't realize there was a medical term for it.
  19. The first week was so was excruciatingly hard for me too. Hang in there. Try Fairlife Core Power protein shakes. You've got this!
  20. I rediscovered sunflower seeds! In the shell. Good substitution for chips or candy or other junk. Keeps me busy trying to get past the shell to the seed. Plus protein.
  21. Yes I started having cocktails again about 1 month post surgery. No issues. Was told that with the weight loss I would feel the effects of alcohol faster. I haven't found that to be the case. Since my stomach can't handle as much liquid I now order doubles.
  22. Thanks friends!
  23. I just hit ONEderland! [emoji16]
