  1. It’s def uncomfortable . People mean well and I guess I’d also be bummed if they didn’t notice hahah. But after you say it once it isn’t necessary to keep commenting every time you see me- that’s when it gets weird ?
  2. Ha you’ll do that a few more times :). Try to only buy what you need for a while!
  3. Nope on gyno exam! I only had blood work, ekg and general physical.
  4. Congrats on the loss! Orchid is right- have to look at your own numbers! 21% in 10 days?!? When have you ever lost that much that fast ? :) I think I lost about 1 lb every day or two in the beginning too— it adds up! Hang in there- start weighing yourself less often if it’s becoming a lot for you . I know that’s hard! I’m trying to only weigh in 2 times per week haha Try to keep your loss personalized to you and congrats again!
  5. Wednesday weigh in... Finally broke stall and 158 this week! Whoop whoop! That makes 84 lbs gone in 6 months— good riddance! Feel amazing :)
  6. Make yourself the priority and let her worry about herself. This is on her is she’s adding in time. Don’t worry about others on this one :) take that appointment offered!
  7. About 5 days! Walk a lot and it passes quicker!
  8. Have you tried premiere protein shakes? They can be sweet so if you don’t like that you can water down a bit. I find they’re the best tasting. Many flavors !
  9. Congrats! It’s an amazing journey! Be sure to update when you’re able!
  10. It’s gets so much better - hang in there! I’m at 6 months and eat almost a cup or 4 oz (depends on weight or volume).
  11. Try sugar free popsicles and hot water/ decaf tea I couldn’t drink cold water for a while either It gets easier :). Promise
  12. I had bypass and went to work in 10 days. Could have gone back in 5 .
  13. Nice job! Congrats- you look amazingly happy :)
  14. Try hot water. I couldn’t drink cold water either for first month or so! Hot water or decaf tea works!
  15. Congratulations on standing up and doing what you needed to do for yourself. You are stronger than you think- you’ve got this. Glad you are moving in a positive direction
  16. Good luck and I hope you don’t have any issues over next couple of weeks!
  17. I had the bypass. I found that many sleevers end up revising to bypass and I didnt want two surgeries. I also didn’t want the reflux possibility and wanted maximum loss . The bypass gives that maximum weight loss - the sleeve is close though! I really don’t see why people say the sleeve is any easier of a recovery. For me- the recovery was super easy. I had 5 small (1/4-1/2 in) incisions and was not in pain - took maybe 3-4 days to be back to normal after gas passing Good luck with your decision
  18. nice job, you look so much happier! Ive lost 80 and I am beyond happy with the progress, changes and overall feelings of confidence, self esteem etc. Congrats to you!
  19. Wednesday weigh in 161 - stalled a bit but hopefully not too long! Had my 5 month (ish) appointment and I’m doing well except vitamin b and d levels Happy!
  20. Stay away from bread - especially that short time out. That’s way too much of a slippery slope
