  1. banded in 2012. That's what I wanted to hear if it ain't broke why fix it. Have you gone to dr any time just to get it checked since 2006? I'm hesitant to go to a doctor, since lap bands aren't popular anymore they will try to get me to remove band and get a different procedure. For the most part, I'm happy with the band, once we became friends, it's all good in the hood. I just want to get the band checked to make sure it hasn't slipped. No health issues, some weight gain, but that's because I eat crap sometimes.
  2. This is my worry. Got in 2012 also. I only have 3ccs in a 10cc band. But I keep hearing how the band can erode and mess us up internally. There are no bariatric doctors locally and I would have to go out of town too. I don't have any issues per say. How are you doing now?

  5. i HAD LAPBAND IN 2012. AND HAVE NOT SEEN ANYONE SINCE. I TRIED AND THE DR WOULD NOT EVEN CHECK ME. MY ORIGINAL DR RETIRED. I ONLY HAD 3MM ON SALINE EVER IN A 10MM BAND. HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A NEW DR, BUT NONE IN MY AREA WILL HAVE TO LOOK OUTSIDE OF CITY.
