I was sleeved in August and didn’t feel even the slightest hunger sensation until about 5 months post op. Don’t be afraid of that! If anything I feel like crap from forgetting to drink water and not eating but seriously this has been the best thing I’ve ever done and I would do it all over again. I’m 94 pounds down 33 pounds down until I get to my goal weight. You can do it!

I found these at Walmart after hunting for a new shake because I hate Vega. Purely Inspired tastes SO GOOD! Is this a good one? I am 99% vegan and try to stay as low carb as possible. I'm not due for the sleeve for 5 1/2 months (oh my glob it feels like a lifetime!) but I definitely want to find the perfect one before then because I'll be using it so much. I just started my 6 month journey to get the sleeve. I was wondering if everyone tells people that they got surgery when it happens, or that you are expecting to. It feels shameful kind of and I know for a fact that everyone around me thinks it's the easy way out but they don't know that I've been struggling for 10 years with PCOS and Hypothyroidism and that the weight just won't come off. Hi! This is my first post! My name is Raven and I'm 5'8 and 315 pounds. I had my first appointment last Friday and went over my insurance and hospital requirements. I'm required to do 6 months of watched dieting and weigh ins. Plus a whole other list of stuff like a sleep study, get cleared by a psychiatrist and take 3 hours worth of computer personality tests, have an exercise evaluation, see a nutritionist monthly, get my lungs and heart checked, and more. It feels like so much stuff (worth it of course) but the 6 months wait feels like lifetime! But I've been fat my whole life so I guess it's doable. [emoji23] They said my goal weight as far as they are concerned is 198 because that would be me out of the obese marker. I can't believe the process is started!
