Surgery was on May 3, 2018.
After the surgery i had a major bleed and almost died. Luckly, the night of May 3rd I had a second surgery to repair the bleed. I needed 2 units of blood in the hospital and 1 unit 2 days after. I also needed 2 iron infusions. My hemoglobin going into surgery was 14 and dropped to 6.9 2 days after surgery.
Immediately after surgery my blood pressure which was normally 140/85 to 150/90 on medication became normal 98/68 to 117/78 without medicine. I am no longer on any medication.
During the pre-op liquid diet I lost 16 lbs. I have since lost 15 more lbs for a total of 31lbs.
