Hey I was sleeved 3/16. After about two weeks my tummy went back to normal. I had a few gas episodes before it went down. The bloat and swollen stomach are real!

Hi all. I'm from Kingston, Jamaica. -
That's probably from the tube they stick down your throat during surgery. Mine stopped bothering about 5 days after surgery. I had ice chips and sugar free popsicles to soothe that feeling.

Hi Paulina I'm 9 days out, had my surgery on 16/3. The first couple of days out post op aren't easy bit you've got to push through to allow your tummy to heal. My surgeon allows lactose free milk so that's in my mix. Some days I get tired of drinking protein shakes but I remember my puree stage is around the corner. Everything is only for a while.
