How are the May sleevers doing?

My weight loss has been great, but I have slipped back into bad habits. I lost my job a month ago, stopped going to the gym and started eating things I couldn’t. Now I can’t seem to break the cycle. Has anyone experienced this and been able to get back on track? I am worried I will fail if I can’t fix this soon.

How are the May sleevers doing?

I had a sleeve on 5/23. I have processed through the stages of food and just started back on “regular” food. I am struggling with getting back to exercise. I have lost 42 pounds since surgery, but I feel I should be further along.
  3. I am about 7 weeks post op from the sleeve. I have lost 42 pounds since surgery and 88 pounds total. I am eating the right foods and drinking water. My struggle as been exercise. I was all about it before surgery and after I haven’t been able to have the motivation to get back to the gym. I feel like I am behind where I should be in weight loss and I feel it is the exercise portions. I am looking for any tips or advise on how to get back the motivation to exercise. Thank you for the support.
  4. I had the sleeve. I was told that any pill the size of a regular M&M or smaller was fine to take. Anything bigger, crush it or cut it in half.
  5. Hey everyone. I know there are some who have started or gone back to Keto after having sleeve surgery. I just saw my doctor and am cleared for Stage 3. Is it too soon to start Keto again or should I wait until I am on Stage 4? Plus any recipes you want to share are great too. Thanks.

    Post op weight loss

Thank you both. Yes, I get caught up on the numbers on the scale and I knew it would slow down. This is all just new and I want to be a success story and not one of the ones you hear about and fear to become where they don’t loose weight or end up gaining it back. Thank you for sharing so I know something is now “wrong”
  7. I am just over 2 weeks post op. My weight loss was going great, about 1.5-2lbs per day. I am down about 20lbs since surgery. All of a sudden, I haven’t lost any weight in the last 3 days. I have been tracking my food intake and I am averaging about 450-500 calories a day, mostly protein. I am still on stage 2 foods. Apple sauce, cottage cheese, butternut squash soup and protein shakes. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions, or is this normal to stall for a short period. I am just afraid that I will have gone through surgery for nothing. Thank you
  8. Can’t seem to get even 4 oz of water in. 4 days post op and constantly feel full. Any suggestions? Is the full feeling maybe something else like surgery discomfort? I have stopped all pain meds.

    Liquid Tylenol

Was it sugar free or regular?
  10. I am a couple days post op and wanting to switch from the pain meds they gave me at the hospital to liquid Tylenol. I can find a sugar free adult liquid Tylenol or generic. Where did others find it?

    It’s getting real!!!

I am scheduled for 5/23. I’m also keeping busy. Cleaning the house. Making food. Double checking supplies. Hitting the gym a few more times. Anything to keep busy and keep my mind off of it.

    Pre-Op Exercise

I am looking for ideas from people who have already had surgery. What exercise should I do pre-op to lose weight and should I work on strengthening my core before surgery? Thank you in advance.

    Weight loss plateau

Thank you. I am nervous and excited. I have been trying to have surgery for 3 years and finally have insurance that will cover it so I don’t want to screw it up.
